The Galactic Adventures of Hatsune Miku

The Return: Hatsune Miku Edition

Miku slowly opens her eyes, focusing her eyes on the light filtering in through the windows. Only three weeks have passed since she's come to Atlantis and taken over, but she was already settling in quite nicely, and so were her people. She sat up from her bed and stretched her arms, glancing around the room. The rooms in Atlantis were very nice. She liked them.

Her city had made it through the battle with the Wraith undamaged for the most part. There was the thing with the East Pier, which kinda sucked, since she didn't know how to fix that, but she was mostly over it by now. She stood up from her bed and walked over to the door, waving her hand over the panel. She stepped out into the hallway glancing around. She supposed she would go to the cafeteria for breakfast.

They'd been able to establish trade with some of Atlantis' old trading partners, and a few new ones. The Athosians on the mainland had asked to be moved to another planet so they could reunite with Teyla- she and Ronon hadn't gone with the Tau'ri, but Miku wouldn't let them come back to Atlantis, so they established a settlement on a seperate planet, which they aptly named New Athos. Miku also had the ATA gene now, thanks to the gene therapy developed by Dr. Beckett.

She had just walked out of her quarters when she heard Rin's voice through her comm. "Hey Miku, you should get up to the control room. There's something you'll wanna see," she said, and Miku changed her direction to go to the control room. When she got there Rin looked up from her console. She and Monika were the only one Manning the control room right now.

"Oh, hey," Rin said, "Well, we just detected a ship on long range scanners." Miku frowned, "Is it the Daedalus? Maybe Kusuo's mind powers wore off or something and they decided to come back."

Rin shrugged, "Maybe. They'll be here in about an hour though, so we can see for ourselves." Miku nodded, "Ok, but tell people to brace themselves for a potential attack. Now, I was gonna go to breakfast. Inform me when they get here." Rin nods, turning back to her console.

Miku exits the control room, waving goodbye to Monika on the way, and makes her way to the cafeteria. She sits down at a table with her food, and starts to eat. One of their trading partners, Sapphos, grew some type of alien fruit that looked like a cross between a pear and a giant raspberry. It was a sort of burnt lime colour, and in Miku's opinion, it was the best fruit she'd ever tasted in her entire life.

She looked up as someone sat across from her. It was Misa and Light. Miku liked Misa, but Light kind of sucked. He was always going on about how they needed to have justice and he would be the 'god of the new world' and how everyone here wasn't as smart as he was. Plus, he was always trying to override Miku's command. She was tempted to confine him to quarters at this point, but she wasn't sure what Misa would do if she did.

"Hey," she said to Misa. She ignored Light. Misa smiled cheerfully at her, "Hey Miku! Whatcha doing?" Miku smiled at her, "Oh, I'm just eating some of the fruit we got from Sapphos." Misa hummed, "Oh, Sapphos! That village is so pretty! I do wonder why there's only women there, though."

"Uh, hey, it's me, you know, Light Yagami?" Light said, interjecting himself into a conversation he didn't need to. "What?" Miku asked dryly, in the sour tone of voice that makes it clear you hate someone.

He chuckles awkwardly, "Uh, I mean, I was just reminding you I was here. It seemed like you forgot." Miku met his gaze with a glare, "Who even are you?" Misa laughs, "Aw, come on Miku, no need to be so mean."

Miku rolled her eyes, "Whatever." Light smiles awkwardly, and Miku inwardly grins. She loved making Light uncomfortable. She sat there eating her fruit for a bit, before deciding she was too tired of sitting next to Light, so she left the cafeteria.

She was taking a stroll through the hallway when she got the message from Rin. "Hey, Miku, the ship is here, in orbit," she said. Miku tilted her head, "Is it the Daedalus?"
