In world heavy ache drowns deep, where sorrows reside,
Life's burdens heavy, I cannot hide.
Without you near, the world seems stark,
A desolate path, through the dreary dark.
No joy I find, no solace to hold,
My heart aches deeply, stories untold.
In every step, I stumble and fall,
For you were the anchor, my strength through all.
Oh, how I long for one fleeting night,
To be by your side, basking in your light.
Alas, I'm alone, tears streaming free,
Haunted by fears, what will become of me?
Forever it seems, this emptiness deep,
A void in my soul, a constant weep.
But hope still flickers, a distant flame,
That someday, my love, we'll be one again.
