Chapter 5: Friends

*Ding* *Ding*

The sounds that resonated from Y/n's phone woke her up from her sleep, she sat up from her bed and looked at the digital clock that sat on her bedside table she palmed her face and groaned seeing that it was only 8 am in the morning and it's weekend at that 

sighing she took her phone that lays on the same bedside table and looked at who woke her up on a Sunday morning, and when she opened her phone she saw text messages from the first person she befriended, Kim Taehyung

Taehyung: Good Morning My Lady

Taehyung: just texting to make sure you saved my number

Taehyung: Hope you have a good day today

Rolling her eyes she was already re-thinking if she had made the right decision of accepting his offer to be her friend, unable to go back to sleep she stood up from her bed and did her morning routine, before heading downstairs where she saw Jin already up making breakfast who look at her direction upon hearing footsteps

Jin: Oh you're up early..... the breakfast will be ready in a few minutes 

Y/n: Okay.

Jin: You look like someone woke you up and you didn't like it one bit 

Y/n: True. an idiot woke me up and now I'm rethinking if I did the right thing to accept his offer of friendship.....

Jin immediately halted everything that he is doing and turn around to look at Y/n with a shocked face that Y/n seems to notice after hearing nothing from him but silence as she looked up and saw his expression she rolled her eyes already regretting telling him as she what was about to happen

Jin: I was right !!! you did become friends with that Kim Taehyung!!! OMG, did Joonie know? I swear there is something about that guy that made you accept him as your first-ever friend, well, except for the four of us but at least!!!!  you made a new friend!-

Y/n: Stop being so exaggerated.

Jin: Excuse me?!?! My lil sis just made a new friend and I won't be happy? duh? you won't even accept Jisoo as your friend even after knowing her for a year already and you just met Taehyung and he manage to become your friend, what magic did he do to make you agree?

Jin said as he now placed a plate of kimchi fried rice topped with a sunny-side-up egg and a cup of her favourite cup of cappuccino in front of her while Y/n just silently picked up her utensils and started eating before answering Jin looking away from him 

Y/n: He did nothing out of the ordinary.....

Jin: That's all? wah..... I doubt that's the reason why you accepted him as a friend Y/n 

Y/n: there is nothing more to talk about. now let me eat my breakfast in peace...

Jin: Tsk. fine, I'll go call joon and wake him up so he could join us for breakfast...

Namjoon: No need Jin hyung... I'm up 

Namjoon said as he walked into the kitchen and sat beside Y/n on the kitchen island that is adjacent to the kitchen counter, Y/n and Jin both look at him until he sat on the stool, Jin placed another plate for Namjoon with a similar food but this time with a cup of iced americano 

Jin: I was just about to wake you up...

Namjoon: well I was already awake and your loud voice can be heard in the whole house Jin hyung

Y/n covered her mouth with her arm that is holding her spoon as she attempts to hide her laugh after hearing Namjoon's remark, Jin looked pretty offended by that scoffing at the two people in front of him and crossed his arms before Namjoon spoke that gain Y/n's attention
