Chapter 3: Jamais Vu

It was a Monday morning and Y/n as usual was on her way to go to Jin's Cafe to get her daily dose of caffeine, yet a certain shop caught her eye that halted her steps, it was an old library just a few blocks away from Jin's cafe, with nothing much in her mind she went inside the library, the door's bell ringing as she pushed it open 

A combination of grassy notes with a tang of acids and a hint of vanilla over an underlying mustiness filled her nose the moment she set foot inside the old library, her hollowed eyes roaming around as she took in the vintage interior of the place a classic one, yet very elegant she liked the place 

There she began walking her way to the books stored on their shelves ideally, skimming through the books as she tries to find something worth reading to kill some time before heading to Jin's cafe this morning 

"I'd rather kill some time here than hear him repeatedly boast about himself being handsome and Jisoo being overly friendly for my liking"

She thought before finally landing her gaze on a book about business, pulling it out to read its contents to see if it was worth reading, unaware of the person also reading a book on the opposite isle behind her who noticed her presence and looked up from the book he was reading

Taehyung: what a coincidence..... I didn't think we would meet each other earlier than expected Ms.Jeon.....

He whispered to himself biting his bottom lip before smirking at the thought of his luck of meeting her again, he closed the book he was holding and walked towards her who was still oblivious of his presence halting just beside her with his hand behind him still holding the book he was previously reading

Taehyung: I guess we met again... Ms.Jeon Y/n?

"ugh..... This arrogant Ceo again..... how lucky I am?"

Rolling her eyes as she recognise the voice of the said person Y/n  turn around to look at him who was still grinning at her like a Cheshire cat while she bore a stoic look on her face as usual but this time raising a brow at the said man whilst crossing her arms still holding the now closed book in her hand

Y/n: Well... if it isn't the arrogant idiot....... what do you want this time?

already expecting the light insulting reply the grin on his face didn't falter instead got more comprehensive showing off his boxy-like smile that has no effect on her, her face remain stoic waiting for his reply to which he sighed before the Cheshire grin on his face resurfaced on his handsome face and began to talk to her 

Taehyung: Nothing but wanting to offer you friendship Ms.Y/n..... I also wanted to apologise for being rude to you in our first meeting and I hoped we can start anew.

He stated now smiling at her yet his smile faltered as she scoffed and placed the book she was currently holding back on the shelf she took the book and looked back at him with her cold stoic face again crossing her arms as she told him

Y/n: I have no ounce of interest in making friends, especially from people like yourself...... don't worry I didn't even care about our first meeting so your apology is already unnecessary..... I'm already contented only having myself and rather not make friends at all Mr.Kim so If you'll excuse me I'll take my leave now...... 

As soon as she finished her words she began walking out of the library leaving a dumbfounded Taehyung behind who shook his head as he got out of his thoughts yet it was already too late to even stop her as she was already outside of the library the only thing he could do is stare at her figure walking away from the establishment while shaking his head as he asked himself

Taehyung: did you just get rejected and insulted by her Kim Taehyung?

he looked down and chuckled at himself sighing looking back where she had disappeared before he gently tapped the book in his hand and walked deeper into the vintage-style library to find a place to read the book in his hand
