Chapter 14: Hectic

Seoul Police Department 10 am 

As Jimin entered the police station with his co-workers greeting him as soon as they saw him walk through different departments, as he neared his respective department a person called his name and he halted his steps and glanced back to see who the person was who turned out to be officer Eunwoo with a smile on his face seemingly holding a manila folder in his hand, Jimin smiled as the officer greeted Jimin

Eunwoo: Jimin hyung! did you just arrive?

Jimin: Ah- Yeah... I think I might've overslept that's why...

Eunwoo: Well I would also be like that if I was in your place hyung

the officer laughed and Jimin chuckled at the young officer's antics while Jimin noticed him holding a file in his hand as his glance went to it which didn't go unnoticed by the young officer

Eunwoo: Ah! right, before I forgot, I was about to go there and hand this to Yoongi hyung 

Jimin: oh then let's go there now that must be important 

Jimin smiled at the young officer which was reciprocated as he and Eunwoo walked together as they entered the department and went to their specific office they saw Yoongi who was typing away on his desk with a bunch of files on the side while Hosoek was inspecting some photos from the forensics they soon both looked up as soon as they heard the door open and saw Jimin followed by Eunwoo enter 

Hoseok: Jimin-ah you're late, that's new

Jimin: I overslept... sorry hyung

Jimin said with a defeated sigh as he went to his desk dropping his bag on the floor and began to open his computer to start his part of the job while Yoongi just shrugged and finally looked up to Eunwoo questioning his presence in their office 

Yoongi: What brings you here Eunwoo?

Eunwoo: Oh right! Chief wants me to give this to you 

Yoongi: Finally, that took long enough. You can go now Eunwoo, thanks

Eunwoo: You're welcome hyung, anytime

Eunwoo smiled which Yoongi only nodded in acknowledgement before the young officer went out of the office, Yoongi then stood up from his chair and stretched before he looked at Jimin and Hoseok who looked at him confused

Yoongi: Grab your things. we have somewhere to go

Hoseok: Where? And why do you need us to go with you hyung?

Yoongi: The Chief approved my request.

Jimin: You mean-

Yoongi: Yeah. that one. now let's go.

Hoseok: But what about Mr.Choi's case-

Yoongi: We'll deal with that later. Let's. Go.

Yoongi interjected and went out of the office leaving Hoseok and Jimin who both shrugged and soon followed the oldest officer after they gathered their things and locked the office

Meanwhile at Jin's Cafe

it's been a few days after Y/n and Taehyung's date and to say that everything in the cafe is fine is an understatement as in reality, Jisoo took a leave for a few days ever since that night leaving Jin to work with Yoona and Y/n wasn't happy with the news, and when Jisoo clocked in this morning she acted as if everything was okay even though she noticed the tense atmosphere between Jin and Y/n again
