Chapter 8: Secrets

Seoul Police Department 7 am 

Sleepless nights, that's what these three people have been dealing with for a week after the body of Kang Min Ho has been found in that alley frustrated and tired of solving another case that is possibly related to the serial murders surrounding Seoul.

Hoseok: There are no fingerprints.... no weapon.... every evidence that could lead us to the Serial killer.......

Yoongi: Just drink your coffee Hoseok.... you're not the only one frustrated now let me work in peace!

Hoseok did what Yoongi said while Jimin who has been checking all the background information of the victims in the whole case frowned at what he read from one file and realised it suddenly standing up startling Hoseok who is drinking his coffee and Yoongi who is busy analysing the autopsy reports

Jimin: Hyung! I found a clue!

Hoseok: what the-

Jimin: look here...... all the victims are connected to one person... Mr. Kang Dae Soo

Yoongi: How is that? I thought only Kang Min Ho is related to Mr.Kang

Jimin: turns out Mr.Son, Mr.Han, Mr.Choi and Mr.Kang along with one more person are good friends in the business industry 18 years back and suddenly all of them suddenly separated for some unknown reasons a year after their company's sudden rise

Jimin: and what's strange is that that person is cut out of all the existing pictures that they took ..... who is that person and why is he cut out of the picture?

Hoseok: but still that doesn't explain why there are several other people who are also killed......

Yoongi: Are you that stupid?..... or just forgetful?.... all of the other victims worked under Mr. Kang, Mr.Son, Mr.Han and Mr.Choi.....now it all makes sense now.... but still... what is the motive for all of these murders? some of them are even ruled as suicides....

Hoseok: Wait..... if you're correct Jimin-ah then..... there is a possibility that either Mr.Choi or Mr.Kang will be next?

Jimin: I guess so..... but Mr.Kang never showed up in public anymore after they all separated.....

Yoongi: This is strange but have you also noticed that most of the victims that worked under them have a criminal record or were ex-convicts?

Yoongi said as he walked to Jimin's table and grab some of  the files as he read them out, while Jimin frowned he also noticed that detail and thought that something is missing, like a missing puzzle piece for them to solve the case 

Jimin: Yeah I've noticed that also but the motive of why they are killed is still unknown.....

Hoseok:*chuckles* we're not dealing with a serial killer who thinks that they are some vigilante heroes saving Seoul by killing criminals and ex-convicts, are they?

Yoongi: This is not some Batman shit Hoseok. We still have to do our job and solve this case there are still some innocent people involved just like this Kang Min Ho, he is just a secretary with no criminal background or whatnot

Jimin: True..... It's weird that the serial killer just suddenly killed someone innocent..... but why? There is something missing here and we have to find that out, it doesn't help that those four people have some past and those victims who work under them are criminals

Yoongi: Are you saying that there is a possibility that those four businessmen are also involved in crime?

Jimin: Could be but we aren't sure about that yet..... they are still innocent until proven guilty by the court and to top it off there is no proof that linked them to criminal acts nor past records
