Almost Like A Date

"Grace, dinner is ready!" My mom called out from downstairs. "Come on, Draco, let's eat." I walked out of my bedroom and downstairs while Draco followed me. We walked to the dining room where all the food and drinks were already laid out. I sat down at the table, and Draco sat down next to me.

"So Draco, are you in the same Hogwarts house as Grace?" My mom asked as she took a bite of the food. "No, ma'am, I'm in the house of Slytherin while she is in Griffendor." My parents talked with Draco for a while before my mom asked about our friendship. "Are you two just friends? Or are you dating?" I looked up at her with a red face. "Mom!" Draco chuckled and looked at me. "We are just friends, mom."

After dinner, I took Draco back up to my room and sat down onto my bed with him. "Don't mind my parents' stupid questions. They have been pestering me about getting a smart, handsome wizard boyfriend." Draco scooted closed to me and got close to my face as he smiled. "You think I'm a smart, handsome wizard?" He said as he looked deeply into my eyes. "I do." I looked down at his lips and smiled before kissing him.

I crawled onto dracos lap, managing not to break the kiss while Draco grabbed my waist. I pulled away from the kiss and looked down into his hungry eyes. "You are so hot." I said, which made Draco chuckle. I kissed him again as he pushed my waist down against him.

Then there was a knock at my door, so we both stopped and looked at each other before I jumped up and went to open the door. "Hey mom, do you need something?" I asked as she stood there with a plate of cookies. "I made you and your boyfriend some cookies." My face went red as she said that. She came into my room and placed the plate of cookies onto my dresser, and smiled at Draco.

My mom started to walk out of my room, but before she left, she turned around and handed a couple of condom packs. "Mom!" I said as she laughed. "I want you to be safe, sweetheart." I'm pretty sure by now my face was redder than a tomato as I awkwardly smiled at at. "Bye, mom!" I said, pushing her out of the bedroom.

I turned back to Draco and saw him with a cookie in his mouth. "Your mom is a fantastic baker!" I smiled and sat down beside him, holding the condoms out. "She wanted to give these to me. Do you want them?" He looked at me with wide eyes before he burst out laughing. "Yeah, sure, I'll take them." He took the condoms and put them in his pocket before taking another bite from his cookie.

Draco and I had stayed up talking and eating cookies until I realized what time it was. "Shit, Hermione is probably waiting for me!" It was well past midnight, and I told Hermione I would be back at the secret organization place. "I will walk you to where you need to go, I can't let a pretty girl like you walk alone in the dark streets at this hour." I smiled and nodded. "Okay, let's go."

Draco held my hand as he walked me to the apartment building that had the secret organization. "This is my stop." I said as I looked at the building. "Can't I at least take you to the door?" I looked at him and pondered. Rather, I should do that or not, and then I did. "Sure."

Draco walked me to the apartment door and looked down at me, pushing my hair behind my ear and caressing my cheek. "Does this mean we are dating now?" I asked as I smiled at him. He kissed me before leaving without answering my question. I don't know if that was a yes or a no, and it kind of frustrated me.

I walked into the apartment and tried to sneak upstairs, but when I got to the bedroom door, Hermione was standing in the doorway. "Hey Hermione, I'm back!" She grabbed my arm and dragged me into the bedroom. "Where in Merlins name where you!?" I giggled as she demandedly asked her questions. "I went back home." I said. "Why?" She said strictly. "Because I wanted some of mom's cookies!"

"Your mom's cookies are bloody brilliant." Ron said as he stood behind me with Harry. "I'm tired, I'm going to bed!" I got up and walked to one of the empty beds before taking my shoes off and laying down. "Goodnight!"

The next day, we were leaving to go to Hogwarts. I got Lily and brought her onto the train with me before sitting in the same spot I did with Draco before, but Draco wasn't there yet. I sat there patiently with Lily in my hands before Pansy walked into the compartment and glared down at me. "I know you want Draco, but you can't have him! He doesn't like mudbloods like yourself! He only likes purebloods like me!" She said cockily.

"Okay." I said, smiling up at her. "Okay? That's all you have to say?" She questioned me with confusion. "Yeah, okay." She grunted before stomping up to me and grabbing my collar to try and intimate me. I grabbed her hand, yanking it off of me before standing up and looking down at her. I grabbed her collar as she did mine and pulled up closer to me. "You do NOT boss me around like that! Get out of here, NOW!" I yelled as I let go of her collar and pushed her back.

She got up and scoffed before brushing herself off and turning to leave the compartment. Draco walked in soon after her and looked at me confused. "What just happened?" He asked as he shut the door and locked it. "Pansy is a bitch." I said before sitting back down with Lily. Draco chuckled and grabbed the same romance novel that I was reading next to him in the library last year.
