I walked back downstairs and went up to Mr. Weasly. "Mr. Weasly, do you know where the Malfoys live?" He gave me a very seriously confused look. "Now, why in the world would you want to know that?" He asked, which made everyone stare at me. "I just wanted to give Draco a Christmas present."
Hermione walked up behind me and looked at Mr. Weasly. "I can go with her to make sure she is safe." Mr. Weasly looked at her and then back at me before telling us where the Malfoy Manor was.
Hermione walked with me to the address, Mr. Weasly gave us and stopped in front of a huge ass mansion. "Holy shit." I said as I looked up at it. "I knew Dracos family was rich, but I did not expect this." Hermione said as we walked through the walkway and up to the door. I held Dracos gift bag in my hands as Hermione rang the doorbell.
After a couple of minutes, the door opened, and Draco stood there with a shocked expression. "I have a present for you!" He chuckled before grabbing the present and looking back as his dad asked who was at the door. "Just some Carolers, father!" He said before walking out of the mansion and shutting the door behind him.
"Thank you, Grace!" He took the tissue paper out and looked inside of the bag, causing a wide grin to appear onto his face. "You didn't!" He said playfully before putting the bag on the floor and grabbing the dreamcatcher and stuffed animal. "You didn't have to get me anything, darling." I had a flustered smile on my face as he said darling, he hasn't called me any pet names before.
He then put the dreamcatcher and stuffed animals back into the bag before picking up the letter I wrote him. He opened the envelope and read the letter while Hermione and I stood there still amazed by his mansion. I looked back at Draco to see his eyes start to water. "Is he crying?" Hermione whispered in my ear, looking at him judgingly. I elbowed her in the arm and snarled at her. "Go wait by their mailbox!" She did as I said and walked to the end of the walkway and waited beside the mailbox.
Draco looked at me and smiled as a tear fell from his eye. "Thank you so much, Grace!" I wiped his tears away before he wrapped his arms around me and embraced me. "You're very welcome, Draco." I looked up at him and pressed my lips onto his.
He pulled away and smiled before grabbing his bag of presents. "I must go back in before my father catches us!" I nodded and kissed him one more time before he walked back into his mansion. I walked back to Hermione, and then we headed back to the apartment building.
The winter break ended, and we all went back to Hogwarts. We ran out to Hagrids hut and stopped as we saw Umbridge in there. Her old lady face was definitely not something I missed.
We waited for her to leave before walking in and talking with Hagrid. I completely ignored everyone and rushed to Hagrids dog. "Awww, sweet baby!" I said as I pat him and absolutely adored him. "What's his name?" I asked as I looked up at Hagrid. "Fang, real coward he is but sweet as a puffskin." I giggled and continued to pet the dog.
I walked back into the school and looked for Draco. When I found him, I walked up from behind him and scared him. "Shit, Grace! You scared me!" I giggled as he turned to face me. "Payback!"
Draco kissed me and backed away as he remembered Umbridges rules. " Let's sneak out of the school!" I said as Draco gave me a mischievous look. "And go where?" I returned his mischievous look and chuckled. "The forbidden forest." His smile faded as I said that. "Absolutely not!" He quickly said in response. "What, why?"
"It's too dangerous!" I backed up and smiled again. "Well, I am going rather you join me or not." Draco scoffed and rolled his eyes. "I'm going now!" I said before leaving Draco and walking out of the school. I walked out to the forbidden forest and looked back to see Draco following me.
"I thought you were too much of a scaredy cat to come out here!" I said, taunting him. "I am not!" I laughed and walked forward. "Then prove it!" I said before I ran deeper into the forest and stopped at a pond that had a spotlight shining onto it as the trees didn't cover that spot.
I then looked to the side and saw a glimpse of what I thought was a centaur. I walked towards where I saw the shadows and then ran into a giant that was tied up in the forest. "Holy shit!" I said as the giant spotted me. Draco walked up behind me and looked up at the giant, grabbing my arm. "I told you it was dangerous!"
"Well, maybe he is a nice giant." When I said that, the giant picked me up and separated me from Draco. I screamed as he lifted me up to be face to face with him. "Hello!" I said as the giant smiled at me. "Draco, he is nice!" I looked down to see that Draco was gone. "What a wimp."
The giant laughed as he put me closer to his face. "Can you put me down now?" He laughed again before sitting down and putting me back onto the ground. He got a bicycle handle thing and put a bike bell on it with a wide smile on his face. It was quite adorable. He then gave me the bike handle, so I rang the bell and heard him laugh again. He was like a big baby.
The giant took his bell back and started to play with it as I looked up at him and laughed. I then heard panting and footsteps coming from behind me to see Draco with Hagrid. "Oh, you met my brother." Hagrid said before walking up to the giant. "T-Thats your brother?" Draco asked, out of breath. "Yup, this is my, well, half-brother, Grawp."
