"My Lady, please mind your word. You are a respectable lady." The maid glared at her, pulling her harshly from the bed. "Spread out her arms." The maid commanded, to which then followed by the servants, stretching her arms immediately. She frowned, what the hell are they doing?

Before she could even react to what the servants did to her, she winced at the pain when the Maid whipped out a darn stick, and smacked her open arm. It was so painful that the pain smack her arm consecutively for five times, ending up her arm bruised and red.

"That will teach you how to become prim and proper." The maid said. As Felicia raised her head, looking at the maid who just smacked her for no reason, she could see that she was enjoying the power tripping her. That malicious glint on her eyes couldn't be hidden from Felicia's eyes. She's used to that look, especially that she worked as a damn scammer.

"Now, bathe her and prepare her dress. Let's show off our Miss." The maid who smacked her arm said, clapping her hands which made every other servant in the room started moving. Some even pulled her at the other room, while some servants prepared things. She still hasn't reacted, she was just confused and angry at the servant.

Everything went fast that she didn't even recognized herself in front of the mirror. God... she looked hideous.

"Now that you are more beautiful, we should head towards the dining area. The Duke is waiting." The maid smirked, while the other snicker at their creation. Felicia frowned even more at their attitude and behavior. This wasn't in the novel. She was dress like a damn bird with too frills. The only thing she's lacking right now is wings to fly. God, so hideous.

Without even letting her react for more, she was already being pushed outside the room where she was once in. The falls were adorned with paintings, knight statues, gold linings, and lightings that looks like more expensive than her past life was. Also, there were a lot of servants passing through, bowing at her however they snicker at her. What the hell?

It also felt like her feet had its own mind, walking her towards what it seems to be a grandiose room, where there were already people before her. The person sitting in front and in the middle of the long table, poising elegantly while drinking his morning tea seems to be the woman's father.

At his left was a man, maybe in his twenties, taking care of another sibling of hers, chuckling and unbothered of her arrival. Her eyes squinted, why is the woman familiar? Even both men in this room feels oddly familiar to her-

"Are you just going to stand there?" The maid whispered and pinched her back, making her gasp by the pain the woman caused. Shit, her nails were long.

Her gasp made everyone looked at her, followed by her maid's immediate action of pushing her back to make her bow down. She almost lost her balance because of the maid. This damn arrogant maid.

"Her Ladyship has awoken, my lord." The maid announce as she bowed her head too. Felicia's head remained bowing, unsure of what to do as everything was very new to her. She's not used to this. She had already died, why give her another damn job that requires beating from these strangers?

Silence followed the room, only the clanking of the utensils could be heard, other than that, nothing follows. Felicia's back was already hurting, she doesn't understand what's with this people, treating her as if she was not here.

"Sister..." Someone called, making her raise her head and met a soft gaze, free of corruption, innocent and gullible looking woman in front of her, offering her hand for her to take. "Please stand up, sister..." She smiled, waiting for Felicia to accept her hand. Her prettiness made Felicia stopped and stare at the woman.

She was beautiful and very enticing.

"Helena, move away from her. Remember what she did to you?" The man glared at her, trying to stop the woman named Helena. "She ruined your dress, didn't she? She's nothing but a bully." The man said, standing up from his seat beside the Duke.
