When you look out the window you see Tom get out of his car. Thankfully no paparazzi were there to witness that, you nervously wait on the couch and tap your leg in anxiety. Why did I even give him my address!! Now he will know where I live... you thought.
You hear a knock on the door and practically run to open it. You unlock the door and open it to reveal Tom looking like a nervous reck as well.
"Hey." He says trying to keep eye contact "Hi" you say in a monotone voice and move out of the way so he could come inside Tom sits on the couch and takes a look around "nice place" he says smirking "thx" you try to keep your composure. "Look I-" he says but you interrupt "I know what your gonna say 'I'm sorry for being such an asshole andddd I wanna just be friends'" you say mockingly he laughs a little "not the friend part." You look at him confused. "Look I need to explain myself better..." "go on..." you say sitting next to him on the couch. "I was an asshole and I did something horrible, wish I could go back and change. I was drunk and I spoke shit I shouldn't have said...some things I didn't even mean to say." "Look my point is, yes it was a bet to be in a relationship with you. But when I got to know you better the bet just swept away." You sat there in silence. "In the beginning I didn't care but when I wanted to breakup with you things inside me changed...I couldn't let go of you." He holds your hands and looks at you in the eyes "I love you y/n...I always will." Your eyes widen and you separate your hands from his.
"I don't know if I'm ready yet. Things for me without all of you have been going great. I don't wanna ruin that." You say, he looked sad but understood "I get that." He looks down. "Did you think that I was gonna except your apology?" You said scoffing in the end "I hoped you would..." "Tom you need to understand I'm not that easy. I want to succeed, but this time I'm ready to do that without Tokio hotel." He looks up at me his eyes slowly watering you start feeling bad but you push that feeling aside "it's a good thing you came back...but right now isn't a good time for us to get back together" He looks away slightly with watering eyes and says "one last kiss?" You hesitate at first but agree. He grabs your shoulders and pulls you in closer and slowly melt into the kiss. It was soft and passionate but sad and Lonely. You pulled away after about 3 seconds and connect your foreheads. Tom lets go of a tear and you whipped it away with your thumb "I'll wait for you." He says whispering "thank you Tom." You say hands around his neck.
When he left you were a mess. You felt like your world was cracking again just like it had when Tom cheated on you. I shouldn't have kissed him my intrusive thoughts kicked in stay away from him. All he's going to do is break you again you grabbed both sides of your head with your hands and yelled quietly "stop!" Then your thoughts vanished. You sigh in relief but sadness as well slowly getting ready for bed and falling asleep.

The next morning you had to do two interview for vogue and another for time magazine. You were exited but the only thing on your mind was Tom. You couldn't stop thinking about your kiss before he left. It felt like a breath of fresh air, and even though you wanted to chase him down your apartment hallway and tell him to stay...you couldn't. You shoved those feeling aside and did your morning routine like always picked out an outfit and did your makeup.
