The teams arrived at the fences of the infamous training ground 44 also known as the forest of death.

Naruto look at the forest with familiarity and his teammates notice it.

Sasuke then ask his blonde teammate "You look like you're familiar with this place my lord?" He said the last part with teasing in mind for he knows that the blonde god doesn't want his friends to call him using honorifics.

A sad smile appeared on Naruto's face as he remembers his past before he became a god. "Yes it is. It was my home, my safe haven I have live here before I was taken and trained by Saké." Upon hearing the honorific an annoyed look appeared on Naruto's face "And what did I told you about calling me with such honorifics.

Sasuke shrugs and said "Hey a moment of peace and laughter is required after all we are on a mission the very second this part of the exams starts right?

Naruto then nod at his teammate.

Just as Yakumo called both Naruto and Sasuke "Hey guys Anko will be briefing us soon" earning a nod from her two teammates, they both came closer to her.

Anko then starts briefing the genins of what will be happening in the forest of death

Meanwhile in the hokage office

5 shadow clones of Tsunade we're busy doing paperwork as the real Tsunade was talking with Jiraiya about their former teacher turned advisor while they look at some evidence on their teacher's executed former teammate Danzo.

"How mess up is this? That warmonger is in talks with our former teammate about an invasion and the war hawk and his forces will stand down and will not help to repel the invasion force." Tsunade said while passing the paper she just read to Jiraiya.

Jiraiya in a thinking post said "You know sometimes I wonder why sensei couldn't have the war hawk executed? Could it be that he is under the influence of the mangekyo sharingan that originally belong to Shisui or could it be because of... Jiraiya trailed off as a voice called via telepathy.

"Hokage sama, Jiraiya sama this is Inoichi Yamanaka we detected Orochimaru's chakra he is currently in the forest of death. Your orders?" The voice of Inoichi said.

"Stand down let Naruto's team handle him or her" Tsunade said.

Also inform Anko that she is not to engage her former sensei I want to surprise the snake if he/she thinks that he/she can still cause pain on her. Tsunade ordered

Back in the forest

The genins signed the waiver and got the scroll and team Shisui got the heaven scroll and what they need is an earth scroll and luckily enough their target has the earth scroll the one they need.

There are a total of ten teams in the second round of the chunin exams 3 Konoha teams 2 teams each from Suna and 1 each from Kusa, Ame, Taki, Nadeshiko and Oto.

Naruto then look at his teammates and said "Let's get this over with." He and his teammates then decided to go to the same gate where team Asuma is gate number 3.

They are currently waiting for the signal when Naruto noticed that a Kusa genin is looking at his teammates he then thought to himself 'I was wondering when will you show
up?' He smirks.

The signals are finally given and the genins are all at the gates. The gates finally opened team Shisui then followed team Asuma and ambushed them.

"Oh shit! We are under attack!" Shikamaru shouted as his team took cover.
