"Cheche Blanc! You forgot your promise to me." Nakasimangot na pag-aakusa ni Dani habang ang dalawa kamay nito na nakabalot nang cellophane gloves ay may hawak na tig-iisang piraso ng fried chicken.

Cheuse raised her brow and asked, "What did I promise you?"

After asking, she dips the fried chicken leg into a bowl of gravy before taking a bite.

Dani swallowed the food in her mouth first before answering, "You said that you will watch my game and you will be there for me until the end."

"I remembered nothing because I am certain that I did not say those words." Cheuse looked at Evory who was busy peeling the cooked crabs. "Say girl, we're always together, do you remember if I gave her my promise to watch the game?"

Evory looked at Cheuse and shrugged. "Honestly? I don't remember anything. Sorry, Dani."

"I don't make empty promises, Dani." Cheuse gently said.

Dani's eyebrows meet as she pouts. "Did I remember it wrong?"

"Blanc, nakita mo na ba iyong video ng laro ni Dani?" Tanong ng isang schoolmate nila na katulad ni Cheuse ay isa ring Peace Officer sa training camp.

Umiling si Cheuse. "Nope. Not yet."

"Sayang talaga na hindi mo nakita sa personal ang laro. The match between Dani and the Aderman twins was so freaking intense." Another co-officer added.

One of Dani's classmates who also participated as a member of the badminton team, suddenly laughed out loud. "Dude, the match between her and what is his name again? The first one?"

"Ren Ueno" Evory answered while her mouth was full of food.

Cheuse shows a face of disgust. "Haven't you heard of the saying 'Don't talk when your mouth is full'? It's disgusting, girl."

Evory just rolled her eyes as a reply to her and continued eating.

"Oh yes! Ren! I thought the first match would be hard for Dani because he's kind of praised nationally, right? Even in other countries, he is hard to beat."

"Agreed"

"I was so fucking nervous when the two finally face off."

The club president of table tennis smirked. "I already knew what Dani could do that's why I made her the ace despite her crybaby personality. The other members also knew it since they played against each other numerous times." Reminiscing about the first match yesterday, she couldn't help but smile. "I thought she was going to take it slow but damn! She unleashed her inner beast from the beginning shocking the audience. I observed Ren's face and I was laughing internally when I saw him dumbfounded."

"Man, that was epic." A close classmate of Dani's laughs loudly.

Since the whole restaurant was rented by Danika's parents for their daughter's achievement and everyone present in the camp as a job well done, they can have lots of fun without someone interrupting them or deflating their bubbles of happiness.

The whole first floor of the restaurant is full of students from Gerous City National High School. Danika's parents are somewhere on the second floor, in the VIP area, together with the principal and teachers who were also part of the training camp.

Cheuse chuckles. "I really missed the fun, huh?"

Evory rolled her eyes again at Cheuse's statement.

"Oh, you missed so much fun, Blanc."

"That's right."

"You missed all the reactions from the students in other schools."

"For real! But hey, didn't someone record it?"
