Chapter 16 : Revelation

(Randy's POV)

"Can you..."

"Can you...hear me?"

"Nnngh...still tired. Morning-wha?" I opened my eyes to see the passage around me whizzing past. "So you can! Th-thank goodness! Finally, you can hear me! I've been trying to reach you for such a long time!" the blurry silhouette of a pink pokemon formed before me.

"Munna? Two questions. One, why are you in my head? Two, are you alive or not?" I questioned out of my grogginess. The sleep-inducing power of Boro's yawns...ugh...still so sleepy... So much for sneaking out. "I was being chased by a big Hydregion last time, don't you remember?"

"Vaguely. What's your deal?"

"Please! I've been trying to get your help since you came here! I've attempted to tell you why you're here, but Hydreigon has been chasing me since I sent you! So far, I've been hiding, but I'm not sure how much longer I can evade him! Please save me!"

"So where are you now? And how or why did you send me here?"

"I'm at the base of Mount Kilionea now, the volcano in the middle of a-"

"Where will you be then? And why did you send me-"

"HE FOUND ME! I gotta go!"

"Wait!"

Everything faded away...

"Rands! Wake up! It's morning, sleepyhead! C'mon, wake up!"

I woke up with a feline shaking me vigorously back and forth, companied by a pain in my neck. "Blossom, I'm awake, gimme a break," groaning, I pushed her away. "Wow, you were totally out cold! I've been trying to wake you for half an hour! You snored with your head drooping backward onto the ground. Boros knocked you out real good last night, didn't he?"

"Yeah...had some weird dream too..."

"What are we waiting for then? Let's head out already!" she exclaimed after I told her the whole thing. "Something's not right, something doesn't sound right..." I wondered aloud. "How would a Munna have the power to send me here? Even if she did so, she certainly could have Moonblasted the Hydreigon? And why me? Her wording sounded strange too..."

"That's easy! We'll ask her when we rescue her!" she exclaimed with a grin. Well, that made sense. Though, why me? A Fairy or Fighting type would have been a better option? "Um...fine, but what about the human thing? How do we tell the others?"

"Randy, this is fine, this is fine, this is totally fine, no need to worry, all you have to do is to tell everymon, okay? Nothing big's gonna happen. You're not gonna get treated like a freak 'cause they're all your friends!" I tried to calm myself. All of my friends and acquaintances in Post Town formed a circle around me as I breathed heavily.

"Randy, you alright? You look like you're gonna faint!"

Shut up, Kuro! I AM gonna faint if you keep saying that!

"C'mon, guys! Let's chant his name! RANDY! RANDY! RANDY!"

"SHUT UP, KURO! Just give me a minute! This is hard, okay?... This is hard..." I muttered, then came silence. "Sorry, Kuro...I just...it's hard, okay? Thinking about your reactions makes it even harder..." I trailed off. "It'll be fine, Randy! I'm rooting for you even if you tell us Blossom has an egg!"

Kuro, you fucking prick-

"Fine, you want to know what it is, Kuro?! I'm human! That's it! Got what you want?" Kuro flinched at my outburst while everymon else gave me questioning glances. "I've been keeping this all to myself since I've come here, lied to y'all about growing up here and stuff! Yes, I'm a human..."
