Athena was thankful for Joanna's warning about her mother.

It took only a few minutes for the Queen to arrive and the smirk on her face told Athena that she was far more satisfied than she should be.

"Why would he when you're receiving him so well? A ball sounds lovely" Athena said with a knowing smile. She knew her well enough.

Her mother might have thought that this was a good way to try and get them apart but what she didn't know was that both Athena and Yuzu were more than ready to make their relationship public.

In fact, Athena was thinking that this could be a perfect opportunity to announce their engagement but it was something that she wanted to discuss with Yuzuru before even considering it seriously.

The Queen looked pissed and Athena was more than proud that she was the one causing that. If her mother wanted to do things this way, she would make it happen.

"I'm going to go. Make sure the maids arrange a room for him if he must stay."
Her mother said before turning on her back and moving to the exit.

"It's ok, we will stay with me."

That worked to make her mother turn on her steps.

"What?"

"Yuzuru is staying with me."

"But... Don't... Don't you have had enough of a scandal already? You want to date a commoner and have everyone know that you share a bed?"

"Don't tell me you think I'm a virgin."

Yuzuru had wide eyes on his face as he heard those words leave her mouth. He tried to hold back, but the giggles left him uncontrollably.

The woman was offended and quickly left the room before Athena said anything else.

Another kiss and they were soon getting lost in each other again.

"There's something else." She interrupted before they got too distracted.

"Hum?" He asked almost silently and unwilling to break the closeness with her.

"I don't worry or care about that... I just thought it might be a good opportunity to announce the engagement... But only if it's okay with you... I don't want to give you any trouble with sponsors..."

Athena giggled and pinned him to the bed before running to close the door from the inside again.

She loved the look on his face when she left, the little pout too adorable to ignore.
