"No! Wake up! Get up! Please, for me! Don't leave me alone!" she cried frantically, her breathing becoming erratic as she saw the blood on his green shirt, the ever-growing bloodstain slowly soaking into his jacket. It was his favourite.
He opened his eyes once more, and when he looked into her eyes, they both knew it would be the last time. "I love you" he mouthed.
As he closed his eyes she began to scream, the longest and most painful scream she would scream in her entire life.
Her tears mingled with the rain that announced the coming storm.
No matter how much she wanted to, she could not take his body with her. She would never be able to bury him.
Her life had been destroyed by them and she would make sure to destroy their lives, if it was the last thing she'd do.
She pulled the knife out of his chest and gave him one last kiss on his cold and wet forehead. "I love you too" she murmured. Taking out the lighter, putting his clothes on fire.
She got up and left his burning body in the woods, where no one would ever find him.
