The soulmate curse

Chapter 5

As Tadashi and she moved across their old schoolyard, slowly towards the door, Tadashi was once again the typical overprotective cousin. 

"So, and this Chan, is he nice to you?! And the others? Are they treating you well, have they asked about your brother yet?"

"Yes, they treat me well and Chan gave me so many compliments today that I thought my cheeks would explode. And the thing about my brother, that's not for here. Let's talk about it when I come to yours today, I'll come an hour early, okay?"

He just nodded and then smiled at her. "But it's nice that you finally found your soulmates, where you and Gale have been searching for so long."

"That's right, the night after our date all together I cried because I was so happy! But I have a question for you. After the day you met Kei, and you weren't with him that night, did his initial burn on you too?"

"Yes, it was very painful, but whenever he touched my initial, it was immediately better, I often didn't sleep at all or slept with him, that's why you have to have a lot of skin-to-skin contact in the first weeks of a soulmate bond! But in the end it's always best to live together. Why, do your initials burn too?"

"Yes, but when I told some of the guys yesterday they didn't mention that they had or have it too. So I think it's just me and you."

The two entered the school's art room and asked the students to be quiet."So, children, today you can choose what you do, because after all it's our last lesson before the autumn holidays! So have fun! Yamaguchi-san will put on some music for you. If you need help, just raise your hand like you normally would, okay?"

After Tadashi had turned on the music, it quickly became quiet in the class, the only sounds coming from the children asking each other for pencils. Outside, it started to rain and the children were painting, all lost in their own world.

Tadashi and Ronny also started drawing themselves. Ronny in her sacred drawing book and Tadashi in his bullet journal that Kei had given him. When she had opened her drawing book, Ronny had had no idea what she could draw. But apparently her body had known. 

Her fingers had simply started guiding the pencil in her hand and before she knew it, she had made a small but clear sketch of her soulmates. All of them were wearing their lunch clothes. Hoodies and sweatpants were the most common among the boys. 

Their hair, just as soft looking as she remembered it. She found herself smiling at the sketch when she woke from her world was when Tadashi tapped her lightly and whispered her name.

"Come on we have to clean up"

"OK! kids we all have to clean up now unfortunately, I know our time together is always too short, but today we made good use of it, yes? I hope you had fun today and have a good holiday!" exclaimed Tadashi. 

Meanwhile at Chan:

He called Felix and Hyunjin and told them that he would pick them both up in half an hour. When he drove the driveway up to their house, the passengers door was opened by a hyperactive Felix throwing himself in his boyfriends arms. 

"Hey Hyung!"he giggled.

"Are you ok? What happened to him?"

"He just came from a make-out session with Binnie, and Binnie being Binnie had to baby him, bringing out his childish side."Hyunjin answered for his lover, pretending to be annoyed at Felix but actually liking his cute giggles. 

"So, why did you call us both?"

"Uh, well. So, you know how Ronnys arm has been burning the whole morning and, yeah,  she told me that she thinks that since she bonded with Hyunjin too this morning, the burning will intensify and she might not get any sleep this night as well. And she said that she could already feel the tingling feeling that seems to lead to the burning, so I suggested to bring the both of you, so that we four could spend the rest of the afternoon together, until she has to go to her cousins house to babysit their son."Chan explained.

After this explanation, Felix was back to his normal him. He got off of Chan and asked "She didn't sleep at all?" Chan just shook his head, knowing that Felix will feel guilty. 

When Felix and Hyunjin sat in the back of the car, Chan started to drive(Swiji anko dallyeo feel the heat inside).

"When, I was driving Ronny to work, there was a song on the radio, and she started singing! Boy, you should have heard her, it was like heaven! Her voice is so smooth!" Chan started to gush over her and the two boys in the back looked fat each other and smirked.

"Channie Hyung?"

"Hm?"

"Earlier you said that, that the four of us will spend the afternoon together, so did you mean that you bonded with her as well?" Felix asked.

"Yeah... I kind of did." he started to blush at the memory. 

"What makes my Aussie boyfriend blush like that? Is it me?"

"No, Hyunjinnie, it ain't you. But my mind just wandered back to the moment when Felix told you to paint him naked, Ronny must have felt uncomfortable. I'm just kinda embarrassed." The Youngers laughed at their cute boyfriend and before they knew it, they reached the school.

"That's her old school? Looks kind of damaged."

"Yeah, I thought the same, Lix, but it's her school and I feel like she likes the people here, or more the children." Hyunjin fetched an umbrella and together the three of them walked into the school. They asked a teacher where the arts room is and the man pointed to the door at the end of the hallway. 

They patiently waited in front of the door, already hearing voices coming from the children and when the door opened they were met with a little girl looking up at them with curious eyes. 

"Who are you?"she asked. 

"Er, well-" she interrupted Chan and then pointed at the young woman at the end of the room.

"Is she your soulmate?"the boys nodded.

"I see! Ms. Huang! Your soulmates are here!" she shouted and immediately the whole attention of the class was on the boys. 

Ronny, who was talking to a little boy, looked up and was met with her soulmates. She just waved and then finished talking to the boy. 

"Anouk! Don't shout like that! You know that Valentino doesn't like loud things. Go and apologise" She turned to the boys, "Could you wait in front of the classroom?"

After 10 minutes all the children went out of the classroom and two minutes later, Tadashi and Ronny followed. 

"Sorry that you had to wait. It was the last day before the holidays so they wanted to tell us what they are going to do. I hope that Anouk didn't make you uncomfortable, did she?" 

"No, not at all!"

The next she knew was that Felix threw himself in her arms and started apologising. She shot Chan a glare. "Did you tell him? We both knew that he would feel guilty! Felix, it's ok.  It's  not your fault!" after Ronny told him that thousand times he let go of her. 

Ronny turned to Tadashi, "I will be at yours at seven, okay?" he just nodded and left. 

"So then, let's go!" she put on her coat and the four of them walked to the exit.
