The soulmate curse

Chapter 18

"Ronny, how many times did we talk about this?!"

"More than a hundred for sure" the pudding head commented, with a shit eating grin on his face.

"That's right, Kenma. I- no we talked to you about this a lot of times, when you feel bad, tell someone. You are just too proud, you must put your pride aside..."

"I know, it's just not that easy, you know that"

The other guys in the room were a little surprised, some of them didn't see her vulnerable side yet. She was embarrassed of her mistakes, she knew that it wasn't a good thing. 

She knew it was nothing to be proud of, she always solved her problems alone, when her brother was still there, he would help her too, but he was busy too. From a very young age, she had to solve her own problems. Her brother never really had much time...

When she was younger, she passed out a lot. Sometimes from lack of food, sometimes from lack of sleep, just energy, then when she was bullied in middle school, of course it didn't get better. 

She never told her brother about it, he already had enough problems.
When she came to Karasuno, everything got better. The boys made sure she ate enough. The sleeping problem didn't really get better, but the boys always helped her. 

She had found a family. In Kiyoko, a big sister. Yachi was also a big sister to her, although she acted much more grown up than she did.

While Sugamama gave his usual lecture, she was lost in thought on the couch next to the boys.  After his lecture, Ronny just gave a lazy smile and leaned against the couch. It was nothing new anyway.

"So it's my turn now," Seungmin said, as if nothing happened.

"Yeah, so, uh, go ahead."

"Yes, well, Ronny is very nice, she has a good sense of humour, but it needs to get a bit darker..."

"I like him" Kuroo said and smiled at Seungmin.

"Is that a good thing?" he murmured in Ronny's direction. She nodded and smiled.

"I think Kei, is going to be really pissed that he didn't meet your soulmates first."

"Well, he's met them, just not properly yet."

"It's my turn, you took so long!" grumbled the youngest.

"Hey, respect your elders," Seungmin shouted and smacked him on the back of his head.

"Yeah yeah..."

"So then, let's go? I guess"

"Yeah, well to be honest I don't know Ronny that well yet, but yeah.... She's a very good cook and she doesn't make fun of me.... Felix said her hair is soft and smells like cinnamon..."

"The fuck?!" Ronny was blushing and already saw Sugawara annoying in their group chat....

"Innie, what the hell? I told you, it's a secret...I wanted to show it off to the others." he pouted, Hyunjin rubbing his back reassuringly.

"So, uh, yeah, I'd say you're all okay, but if she cries about you once, I'll come from Japan myself and whoop your ass." the boys nodded fearfully, intimidated by Asahi's threat.
