The soulmate curse

Chapter 9

As she sat down on the couch, she felt the burning in three places on her body. Her arm, her hand, her cheek, she herself was very sure that she would not sleep that night either.

So she made herself comfortable, curled up in the blanket on the couch like a burrito, then grabbed the remote and zapped through the channels. Eventually she got bored, so she quietly went into Haru's room to see if he was asleep. 

He was, but like Tadashi, he slept very messily. He was half out of bed and his blanket was on the floor. Ronny took the blanket and put the boy in the middle of his bed with the blanket over him.

It was well past midnight when the key turned in the flat door and Ronny, still not asleep, waddled to the door and greeted the two men. Tadashi was very tired, half hanging in his boyfriend's arms.

"I'll put him to bed quickly, then I'll come back," Kei whispered and then disappeared into the bedroom with a drowsy Tadashi. After a few minutes, he reappeared, wearing a jumper and sweatpants. 

"So what's up, why are you still awake pipsqueak?"

"Dashi must have told you about the burning when you weren't living together, right?"Kei nodded and thought for a moment, "You too? But if you've bonded with how many so far?" 

"Three."

"Three. Then the burning is three times as bad as sweetie, do you want me to drive you over?"

Ronny quickly shook her head, "No, I don't want to disturb the boys, they're probably already asleep."

"If you ask me, they all act like they're crazy about you, but alright, that's normal at the beginning of a soulmate bond, at some point you get annoyed, even if you love the other one. Moving on, they'd even come here themselves, even though they're afraid of me, and don't tell me you're fine now. Because you're not, you're super pale and you're sweating."

"But-"

"No buts, give me your phone-"

"No, I don't want to be a pain!"

"You're not annoying, but you're annoying me with your selflessness, think of yourself!"

"I'm super selfish, I have nasty thoughts of revenge!"

"You don't, the way you look at them, you can't kill anyone right now. We both know that, the boys are too important to you and what good would it do you to kill them all, your torment was too bad so you couldn't even enjoy and savour your revenge."

"You're stupid, you know everything! Geez, you're no fun!"

"I'm very funny, now give me your phone so I can call your guys." Ronny was still shaking her head, Kei who wanted to help his boyfriend's cousin felt compelled to reach for the mobile in her hand. Ronny, of course, was not unprepared, she turned so that she could slide comfortably onto the floor. 

She smirked at him briefly and then ran away. Kei, who hadn't expected to be tricked, looked after her with his mouth open and then ran after her. It was a great miracle that Tadashi and Haru did not wake up. 

Half an hour later, the two of them were outside at some point, sitting on a bench. Both were out of breath, but Ronny remained stubborn, even though her knees were a little weak and the dizziness was increasing.

"Well, don't, at least you've got a bit more colour in your face now. Come on, let's go home!"

"Ok" she smirked because she had achieved her plan and followed him home through the dark park. The two of them ran up the steps, Kei in front and with his huge legs he could of course run two steps at a time, so he had a mega head start. Ronny slowed down, when she got to the third floor she just blacked out, the last thing she saw was the floor getting closer and then nothing.

A/N:so I'm back after a short break! Is anyone still reading this? Well, this was a short chapter so that I don't use up too much of my ideas today. It's already late where i live, so sleep well!!!
