It was a new day. The sun was rising and the planet began to light up with the shine of it. An alarm could be heard as you get close to the planet, and then louder as you get closer to the small cabin that newly resided on Little Planet. Inside we see a small tired fox groaning at the sound of the alarm.

Tails wasn't particularly fond of getting an early start on days. She was kind of an overnight fox, especially due to how many times she's accidentally stayed up through nights on end just to finish a project a few hours quicker. However, today was different for her, as she needed to get up early to try and get a start on the day.

Turning off her alarm, she sits up, stretching and sitting up in bed for a few minutes trying to wake herself up. After a bit she gets up and grabs some food to cook while she begins brewing some coffee. She really needs to stop drinking this stuff, she knows that. Though it's hard to do so when they do have so many delicious flavors and above all else, it actually wakes her up.

Grabbing the newly made scrambled eggs and coffee, she begins eating silently by herself, taking sips of coffee while idly messing with her scanner device to make sure everything is in order. It feels weird having to eat on her own, especially without Sonic around. He usually runs by every morning, or at least early afternoon since he's also aware of her poor sleeping habits, and eats the breakfast she makes.

It always made Tails wonder what it would be like to eat with a bigger family, since she IS really good at cooking, at least according to Sonic. She wonders if the others would enjoy her cooking. Usually if they have a big outing, they'd leave it up to Vanilla and Cream to make the food since that's kind of what they specialize in. Well, that and caring for others, especially chao. Cream even mentioned wanting to own a chao garden or even a farm when she was an adult. It's definitely quite the dream she has, and Tails thinks she'd be good at it.

Oh. She did it again. Noticing that her plate and mug were empty, she took her stuff over to the sink and put it in, going over to get dressed and brush her fur. When she was finished, she grabbed her satchel with the Time Stone in it, grabbed the scanner and set out on her way.

Due to yesterday's findings, since the Time Stones energy readings are similar to the Chaos Emeralds, it shouldn't be too hard to find them, especially since they are different enough to have their own reading. As long as she doesn't make the range as big as let's say, a whole island, finding the rest should be a piece of cake!

So, she set out in the same direction as yesterday, going past the cave she first explored, determined to at least search further than that cave before searching the other way. She isn't as fast as Sonic, so searching a whole planet like this would and should be difficult. Though that is what she wanted: to challenge herself to do this. Not like she wants to go as fast as Sonic here anyhow. After all, what if she misses a signal? That wouldn't be exploring at all, that would be hoping she'd get lucky.

Yet, it seemed everytime Sonic searched for the Chaos Emeralds, or heck, the Time Stones for that matter, he'd always come out with all of them. Wonder if it's those "giant rings" he mentioned to Sage. Though in her theory, especially if she's finding the gemstones outside of these "rings", that likely means the giant rings were a one time use, and now the Time Stones are just around the planet somewhere.

Though, with how big the planet is, it could take forever before she-- Her thoughts are interrupted by a small "dink" sound. What the...? She thinks as she looks down at her feet. Sure enough, she just stepped on metal. She was no longer surrounded by the sound of grassy areas. Now, it was cold hard metal under her feet, neon signs surrounding her and lots of... pink.

Was this Collision Chaos? That's at least what Sonic called it. From his description, this place seemed weird, though it's not like most places didn't have some form of wackiness to them. However, another thing catches her attention as well. Beeping. From her scanner. She quickly looks down at it. Sure enough, it was detecting a Time Stone! Wait, was it detecting the one she had? No surely not, she edited the settings and it was pointing her away from her current location. This was it!

She looks around, making sure no one was around before jumping up and pumping her fist in excitement. Finding one this early?? She could DEFINITELY find two at this rate! She quickly began to follow the direction of the signal, getting more excited by the minute. If she was able to find this one, she could immediately go look for the next! What if she got lucky and there were two in the same place? The possibilities were endless here!

However, her excitement quickly ends when she isn't paying attention and a spring shoots out of the ground, launching her high in the air! She yelps in surprise, but quickly catches herself. Or at least she tries to, but instead immediately gets launched into a bumper floating in the air, bouncing her around like a pinball and forcing her into a ball so she doesn't get harmed. Guess this is why Sonic called it Collision Chaos.

The bouncing, the launching, and everything else was just that! Chaos! It doesn't feel good to be tossed around like this, so Tails, the moment she gets an opportunity, begins flying. Feeling dizzy and being VERY careful where she landed next, trying not to land on another secret spring, she lands on the ground, then sits, getting her bearings again.

Needless to say, it seems like this zone sucks a lot, and she didn't enjoy that short lived experience. The moment she was ready, she began flying once again, going somewhere high so she could look around better. Noticing she was further away from her goal than she realized, she groaned in annoyance, going over to where the signal was. There better be like, a million of the Time Stones for this place to feel worth it.

After flying for minutes on end, the signal getting stronger and stronger, she got close to a neon sign. The signal was the strongest here...yet she didn't see anything around. Was it all for nothing? How could her calculations be off? Surely she didn't mess up anything, the scanner detected the Time Stone she had just fine! So what gives??

Surely the neon sign wasn't using the same kind of energy. If it was, she'd be kind of ticked about it. Using such incredible power to just have a stupid neon sign with gibberish on it would be such a waste of energy and her time! Dejected, yet curious, she brings her scanner closer to the neon sign. It beeps louder, however it doesn't beep enough for this to be the actual location of the energy source.

What? It was pointing her in this direction. Is it a specific area near the sign? She slowly brings the scanner around the sign, looking for any hints that'll give her the answer. And there it was. That familiar long beep. This is the location. It should be right in front of her. Yet nothing but a neon si--. Wait a minute.

There it was. Another Time Stone, stashed neatly in between some of the gibberish letters, blending in with the sign. Well, sort of blending in. Now that she's looking at it, it's quite easy to see it. Which makes her feel a little embarrassed. Blushing a bit and looking around once again to make sure no one sees, she grabs the gem. She stashes it away and readjusts her scanner to not look for that one specifically before moving on, glad no one was around.

However, she once again failed to notice that someone, doing everything they could to hide from her, was watching her.
