"DAD, THERE'S LIKE A billion other women in the world, and the one you choose to be entangled with is my coach," Harmony complained later that day as the two sat in the dining hall.

Dominic laughed at his daughter's dramatics, "This isn't an entanglement, Harmony. I'm in love." Harmony rolled her eyes at her father's response, "In love, Dad? Really?" She scoffed, causing Dominic to raise an eyebrow. "You were in love with Gracie, you were in love with Daphne, you were in love with Michelle-"

"This is different, Harm. I asked her to marry me." He informed her, placing his hand on the table so that she could see the engagement band on his finger. "Yeah, you've mentioned that." She grimaced, pushing his hand off of the table.

"Dad, the girls on the track team already hate me. They're gonna think the only reason I'm team captain is because my dad is messing around with the Coach." Harmony whined. "But that's not true. Carrie wanted you as captain long before me and her were together." He assured her.

"It doesn't matter what the truth is, it matters what they believe." She replied, "I only just started to like her as a Coach, now I have to deal with her as a step-mom till death do y'all part."

"Speaking of that," Dominic trailed. "Since you're forcing me to hang out with J.R. on Sunday after the game. I want you and Carrie to spend some time together, outside of track."

"Hell no." Harmony shot down, "Well then, let J.R. know that our plans are canceled." Dominic stated as he stood up. "Wait," Harmony called out, taking a deep sigh. "Fine, I'll do it." She gave in, causing her father to smile. "That's my girl," Dominic rejoiced, placing a kiss on his daughter's forehead.

"WHAT'S UP, Damon?" J.R. greeted his friend later that night at the alumni dinner, while Harmony waved. "You guys remember Erica, right?" He introduced, as he and the girl from the lounge sat down at the table.

J.R. and Harmony gave each other knowing looks before replying, "How you doing?" They both greeted.

"Dang, Coach." J.R. said as he looked at Marcus's full plate. "How are you still hungry? You ain't fill up at Tito's?"

"Man, I ain't thought about that place in years, J.R. Heh." Marcus chuckled, "Really? My dad talks about that place every day, he's mad he hasn't been able to go there since he's been back." Harmony chimed in, making J.R. furrow his eyebrows, "Wait, your dad didn't go today with my dad and the rest of the team?" He inquired, causing Harmony to shake her head, "Far as I know, them boys went home and took naps, man." Coach Marcus spoke. "They ain't worked out like that in a minute." He laughed. "Good minute."
