"CHECK. CHECKMATE IN THREE MOVES."
Kayleigh jumped in her seat as she heardGideon appear behind her to Spencer's desk. She sighed and looked away from her online shopping tabs before closing her laptop and swerving around.
"What?" Spencer mumbled in confusion, the sound of Derek's newspaper slamming onto his own desk across from Kayleigh's filling the air as he turned to the genius.
"You know, you'll beat him when you start learning." Derek corrected, Spencer's eyebrows furrowing as Kayleigh sipped her coffee.
"Learning what?"
"To think outside the box." She revealed as Elle walked into to the group, looking at Derek.
"Question for you."
"Shoot."
"The Footpath Killer. Why did he stutter?" She questions and he leans back with a head shake.
"Come on, Elle, we've all asked him and he won't say. He wants us to figure it out." Derek tells her as Kayleigh winks at him, the two of them already knowing.
"Well, okay. I'm up for a challenge." Elle retorts as one of Kayleigh's best friends, JJ, walk over.
"Good. Because these go to you. Special Agent Jennifer Jareau. JJ if you like." She holds her hand out, Elle shaking it with a small smile.
