What Elrond hadn't expected was for his daughter to arrive in Rivendell sooner than planned. Arwen had replied to her husband's letter from her father,stating they would journey to Rivendell at the end of the month but they had actually arrived early. At this moment in time Elrond is busy with his family so I am busying myself outside. I am outside with Lunna as she sketched in her book,I layed down watching the clouds float threw the sky. I sighed happily as the handsome elf lord crossed my mind.

"You seem to be more cheerful than normal Y/n"Lunna said
"Really I hadn't noticed"I say
"Something good happened to you didn't it?"Lunna asks
"Maybe,maybe not"I say being vague
"Okay miss happy, spill it."Lunna said putting her sketch book down and turning to face me,I sat up and looked around us. We are the only two here but still
"That advice you gave me last time we talked worked brilliantly"I say quietly
"Oh,how"Lunna asks
"I kissed him"I say
"Kissed who?"Lunna asked
"My crush Lunna,who else" I tell her

"What already,that was fast"Lunna said shocked
"What happened fast?" the voice of Marwin asks,me and Lunna look up and see Marwin coming to us with Kolvar with her
"Not a word to Mar"I say hurriedly to Lunna
"Of course"Lunna said,at the moment the other two elf's arrived
"So what happened fast?"Marwin asks looking from Lunna to me
"Oh it's just Lord Elronds daughter and son in law arrived yesterday instead of the end of the month,is all"I say thinking fast.

"I see"Marwin said"You don't mind that Kolvar joins us do you?" Me and Lunna didn't get to answer though as they both sat down on the bench behind us. Lunna and I shared a look but said nothing as I lay down again and Lunna went back to her sketchbook
"Is this all you ladies do out here,just sit?"Kolvar asks almost disgusted
"Yes why?" Lunna asked
"You should be out trying to find yourselves husband's,not sitting in the dirt"Kolvar told us. That didn't sit well with Lunna and I know it,it's up to us when and if we wish to marry not some other elf.

"And what is that meant to mean?" Lunna asks closing her sketchbook and looking at Kolvar
"All I'm saying is that no man will look twice at you,if you look the way you do"Kolvar said"I mean look you are dirty,you should be like Marwin here clean and well presented" I said nothing as I know what would come next
"Look here you pompous elf,you do not get to march yourself from Mirkwood,which is also where I am from and tell me how to live my life"Lunna said getting to her feet"Just because your father is King Thraduil's healer does not give you the right to talk down to me"

Kolvar and Marwin both looked shocked at Lunna's outburst but I knew the reason behind it
"Well at least my father is twice the healer than that Elrond you have here"Kolvar said,that remark didn't sit well with me
"Hold up snooty,don't you bring Lord Elrond into this"I say,also standing up and glaring at the dark haired elf"If you don't have anything nice to say about the Lord of the city you happen to be staying in,then don't open your mouth at all"
"Well I never..."Kolvar said standing up
"...never learnt any manners,yeah that much is obvious"I say.

Elrond's P.O.V

As Arwen visited old friends here,I lead Aragorn in search of Y/n
"Are you sure this is where she will be?"Aragorn asked me
"Perfectly sure,Y/n has told me many times if she isn't in the library learning she is outside with her friends"I say as we step out onto the grass,I see Y/n and her friend Lunna both looking very annoyed at Kolvar who is with Marwin. We hear the end of there conversation as we get closer
"Well I never..."Kolvar said,it sounded like he is offended
"...never learnt any manners,yeah that much is obvious"Y/n said,it isn't often that she is this annoyed at someone.

After that Kolvar walked off with Marwin trailing after him
"Jerk"Lunna and Y/n say at the same time,the two ladies then notice us
"May I help you my lord"Y/n asks
"Yes I would like to introduce you to Aragorn"I said
"King of Gondor and husband of Arwen"Y/n said
"The same"I say"The two of you have something in common that you should know about"
"Cool"Y/n said, whilst she and Aragorn headed off together I turned to head back inside
"My lord can I ask you something?" Lunna asks.

"You may Lunna" I say facing the blond she elf
"Are you the one Y/n has a crush on?" Lunna asked
"What makes you say that?"I ask curiously
"It's just she got really angry when Kolvar wasn't very nice about you,and then when you came over here Y/n became a lot happier"Lunna said
"It isn't really my place to say"I tell her"How did you know?"
"Observation"
