Elrond's P.O.V

After dealing with everything I needed to deal with,I made my way to my study to see if Y/n is around. I had hoped to spend some time with her before the day is over,but Arwen wishes to talk to me about something. Upon arriving at my study I find it to be empty,I had hoped Y/n would be here but she must still be with her friends. I closed the door again and went to set off down the corridor,when her friend Lunna approached me
"Lord Elrond have you seen Y/n,she said she wanted to talk with about something but that was three hours ago?" Lunna asked me.

"No I haven't seen Y/n recently,I thought she might still be with you" I say
"That's strange" Lunna said" Even Marwin hasn't seen her"
"Have you tried all the places she likes to visit?" I asked as the two of us headed off down the corridor
"Just about all of them yes,there is just one place left" Lunna tells me
"Ok head there now and see if she is there, whilst I go and and ask Lindir" I said,we went off in two different directions. It wasn't unusual for Y/n to be alone somewhere,she has done it before but not three hours though.

I found Lindir and asked him if he had seen Y/n,but he hadn't seen her since yesterday when Gandalf had arrived. Then Lunna arrived and said Y/n wasn't there either
"Now what do we do,this is starting to worry me?" Lunna said
"Calm down Lunna I'm sure Y/n is somewhere,have you tried her room?" I asked I had to hope she is there
"Not since before I spoke to you" Lunna said
"I will head there,Lindir go with Lunna and check the grounds for Y/n" I said.

I hadn't gone to far when Arwen joins me
"Are you free to talk now father?" She asked me
"Not at the moment,I'm quite busy" I said
"You seem on edge what's worng?" Arwen asked,I hesitated before answering her question
"I...I am looking for something important" I said,we had arrived at Y/n's room I normally would knock but this time I just walked inside the room
"Are you sure you are looking for something and not someone?" Arwen asked from the door way.

I searched the room but found no trace of Y/n any where
"Father talk to me what is going on?" Arwen asked me,I sighed and turned to face my daughter
"I'm looking for Y/n she is missing" I say
"The elf you wanted Aragorn to talk to" Arwen said
"Yes the same elf,why do you ask?" I say looking around the room again
"Because I haven't seen you this worried about someone being missing before" Arwen said " Why is she so important to you?" I stopped looking around the room,Y/n wasn't here and there is nothing to show if she had gone anywhere.

I crossed back to the door and exited the room,Arwen stood looking at me waiting for my answer. I had planned on telling her about Y/n but not like this
"Well?" Arwen asked" You can tell me,I'm your daughter after all"
"I care that Y/n is missing because... because she is my girlfriend" I said,I saw the look of shock cross Arwen's face at my words. If Arwen was going to ask questions she changed her mind, instead she said
"Well that changes everything,what can I do to help?"
