One day, Jake Sully arrives at the Sea Clan with his children, after leaving his home to avoid a war.
Upon their meeting, Jake is immediately fascinated by the beauty and grace of Tahani. He quickly learns that she is the daughter that Eywa had given as a gift to Tonowari's mother. He feels an instant deep connection with her, as if they were meant to be together.
Over time, Jake spends more and more time with Tahani, getting to know her culture and way of life.
On her part, Tahani is attracted to Jake's strength and determination, as well as his ability to communicate with Eywa. She feels safe with him, as if he were her protector.
Eventually, Jake and Tahani fall in love with each other. They spend hours walking on the beach, stargazing, and talking about their dreams and hopes for the future.
