She always knew she was different from the other children in her clan, but she didn't know why. She often dreamed of a st...

Another day dawns on Pandora. During her morning swim, Tahani spotted Jake Sully hunting alone. She immediately noticed that something was wrong. He seemed to be carrying an emotional burden and was trying to free himself from his thoughts by hunting alone. Intrigued and concerned for him in a way she didn't understand, Tahani decided to approach him.
She gracefully swam towards him, keeping a respectful distance. Jake, surprised by her presence, turned to her with a mix of surprise and strangely, happiness. Without saying a word, Tahani made it clear to him that she was there to listen, if he needed to talk.
Jake hesitated for a moment and decided to share with Tahani what was troubling him. He told her about the difficulties he had faced in his life, the betrayals he had suffered, and the battles he had to fight to preserve Pandora's nature.
Tahani listened attentively, hearing his story in a different way.
"I was just a former paralyzed marine who was recruited to participate in the Avatar program on Pandora... The Avatar program involved using avatars, biologically created bodies that resemble the indigenous inhabitants of Pandora called the Na'vi.
The scientists hoped to establish a connection with the Na'vi and study their culture... I was chosen to replace my deceased twin brother, who was also a member of the Avatar program. By using his avatar, I was able to walk again and freely explore Pandora.
Over time, I immersed myself in the Na'vi culture... and I met Neytiri, she was a young Na'vi... she was sort of a mentor to me, and I fell in love with her... As time went on, I realized that the humans, who exploit Pandora's resources, were destroying the planet and the lives of the Na'vi.
So, I decided to side with the Na'vi and join their fight to protect their land. I used my human knowledge and my connection with the Na'vi to help them defend themselves against humans.
That's what allowed me to convince the Na'vi to fight against the humans and defend their way of life.
As you know, we won... and... Neytiri and I later became parents... but... she didn't... survive Tuktirey's birth..." Jake said, shedding a small tear. Tahani wiped away his tear and gave him a sad smile.
"I'm sure she's proud of all of you, she must be very proud of the father you've become, of how you've raised them. She and Eywa will forever be by your side, guiding you and the children," Tahani said. Jake then embraces Tahani, seeking comfort without realizing that Ronal has seen them and is looking at them with disapproval.
Tahani breaks away from the embrace and looks deeply into Jake's eyes, trying to figure out what Eywa wants so badly.
"I have... I have to go replace Ronal for the care... With her pregnancy, she's tired, so I'm taking over. See you later," she tells him with a final smile before gracefully walking away into the water to return to solid ground.
Once on solid ground, she remembers the touch of Jake and unconsciously puts her hand where he touched her, causing her to smile slightly.
Arriving in front of the medical marui, Tahani settles on the ground, waiting for someone to eventually come to her.
Seeing that no one is coming to her, she starts to doze off for a few minutes, which then turn into hours.
But cries wake her up violently. She quickly stands up to see Aonung running towards her.
"What have you done again?" he asks her as if it were a reflex, causing the young Na'vi in front of her to roll his eyes.
"It's Kiri, she's not waking up, like you," he says, his face contorting in front of his aunt. "She connected to the tree and started convulsing."
Tahani quickly gathers all the supplies that might be useful to her and turns to Aonung.
"Go tell your mother."
"It's done, she told me to come get you, she already sent Father Sully's friends away," the younger one says, taking the bowl with all the ingredients.
Tahani steps out and quickly heads towards the Sully marui, closely followed by her nephew, ignoring those around her.
Arriving in the marui facing Kiri, who was deeply asleep, Tahani's heart skips several beats.
"Put her head on your lap. Hurry," Ronal orders her.
Tahani does as she's told and kneels down to rest the younger one's head on her lap.
"Close your eyes and focus on her, completely on her," Ronal orders her, which Tahani immediately does. She then projects herself into Kiri's mind to see her crying out for "mom."
Tahani approaches her and immediately turns back to her, calling out to her.
"Kiri, Kiri, look at me, you have to wake up, you're in your subconscious here, everyone is worried, Kiri," Tahani tells her, holding her in her arms.
"I... I saw my mother crying," Kiri says in Tahani's arms, as she tries to comfort her as best she can.
"I know it's hard, Kiri, but close your eyes at the same time as me, okay? 1, 2, 3," she tells her, closing her own eyes, allowing both of them to wake up in the real world.
"Kiri!" Tuk cries out, taking his sister in his arms happily. As the eldest of the Sully children cries tears of joy, Tahani herself faints next to Kiri, creating panic among them, especially a certain Na'vi.
