➤ One Day
The next day, Tahani wakes up slowly to the sunrise. She stretches and heads straight to the ocean. She loves swimming, it's an activity that allows her to recharge and feel in harmony with Eywa. She dives into the cool water and immediately feels the energy it gives her. She swims for several minutes, enjoying the beauty of the marine landscape and the sensation of freedom it provides.
After swimming for a while, Tahani gets out of the water and sits on the warm sand. She contemplates the scenery, the sun rising in the sky, the waves crashing on the beach, and the seabirds flying above her. She feels at peace, in harmony with nature and with herself.
Tahani stands up and decides to go look for the younger ones. She heads towards their favorite spot, where the ilu were often found. She dives into the water once again and swims to the location. She sneaks up on them and emerges from the water, startling them.
"It's just me... so how is your first lesson going?" Tahani asks kindly.
"We're having trouble breathing underwater," the youngest one says, smiling at her.
"That's normal, they will teach you how to hold your breath, won't they?" Tahani responds, giving Aonung and Rotxo a stern look.
The children nod, intimidated by Tahani's gaze. She knew that the two other navi, Aonung and Rotxo, were often too strict with the other navi, which could discourage and frighten them. She wanted to make sure the children were treated well and that they were learning at their own pace.
"Don't worry, I will make sure everything goes well for you," Tahani says, smiling gently. "And if you ever need help or advice, don't hesitate to come to me."
The children thank her, and Tahani dives back into the water, leaving them to learn with the other navi their age.
Tahani dives into the water to see how Jake is doing on a Skimwing. She follows her instincts to find their location.
After crossing the ocean, she finds Jake floating on the surface of the water, with his reddish and injured fist. She smiles at him, and they both approach her brother, who has a bored expression.
"What if I try teaching him on my own?" Tahani says to her brother, nodding towards three other warriors from their clan.
After all, she was just a child when she learned to ride a Skimwing, and now she's very skilled in the art of flying.
"Alright, I'll leave him with my sister, Jake Sully, good luck," Jake says, leaving with the other navi into the depths of the ocean.
Tahani calls out to summon her Skimwing, who immediately comes to her and rubs against her.
"This is Dalia," she says to Jake, who looks at her in surprise but doesn't say anything. "Now, get settled."
Jake does as she says and settles into the Skimwing's saddle. Immediately, Tahani takes his hands and positions them correctly. Then, she wraps her legs around him and makes him move forward.
