Dark Swan

Rose Hook's P.O.V.

We walked until we made it to a little village and we needed to rest. "Let's stop here and continue on until we find Emma," said David. "You are going to find her?" asked a voice behind us. We turned around to see a teenage girl. "And who are you supposed to be?" asked Regina. "My name is Rose. Emma, or the Dark One I should call her, just visited our village. She killed my dad and took my mom," said the girl. "She did what?" asked David. "She killed someone?" asked Regina. "Swan, you let the darkness," I said to no one in particular. "I didn't think it was that bad!" said Merlin. "Yeah, are you going to find her?" asked Rose. "We were on our way," said David. "I want to come with you! I want to find my mom," said Rose. "We can't take her with us!" said Regina. "It will be dangerous," said David. "But we have the dagger and I have magic!" said Merlin. "That is true. We have to help find her mother," said David. "Fine! She better not get in our way," said Regina. Rose smiled happily, but I wasn't in the conversation. Emma had killed someone. That means the darkness had really taken over her. Who knows what else she did. "When do we leave?" asked Rose. "Well, I'm rather hungry," said David. "We can just camp out here for the night and then start out in the morning," said Regina. "Aye, sounds like a plan," I said. "I know where we can get some food and you can rest! Follow me!" said Rose walking ahead. We followed after her until we made it to a building that looked about two stories. We walked inside and on the bottom floor was place to eat filled with tables and a few people. My guess was upstairs were rooms to sleep, it reminded me of Granny's. We sat at a table and ordered our food. "I have never seen any of you guys around here, where are you from?" asked Rose who was sitting next to me. "Well, we are from a land far far away from here," I said not sure what to say. "And who are you guys supposed to be?" she asked. "Well that woman over there is Regina or The Evil Queen," I said. "I have heard stories about her, can we trust her?" she asked. "Aye, she has changed. And that guy without the beard is Prince James or Prince Charming," I said. "I have heard stories of his charm and bravery," she said. "And the fellow with the beard is Merlin, a sorcerer," I said. "I have always wanted to meet him! I have heard he is a brilliant wizard! And who are you?" she asked. "Captain Hook or Killian Jones," I said. She looked down at my left hand and saw the hook and her eyes light up. "You're Captain Hook! I have heard stories about you too! How you sailed the Jolly Roger where ever you wanted and you were the best pirate to set sail. I've always wanted to sail, it seems so free and fun. Did you use the Jolly Roger to come here?" she asked. "No, I traded it," I said. "Why would you trade your ship? It's everything to a pirate," she asked. "It was for a very special person, the woman I love," I said with a sad smile. "Who is she?" she asked. "The Dark One," I said. "You mean the one we are about to go defeat? She is evil and you seem harmless!" she said. "Aye, but she wasn't always that evil. She was the Savior, Emma, and she did her job and saved the town from the darkness," I said. "So, we are saving her from the darkness?" she asked. "Aye and hopefully back to Emma," I said. "So you love her, but does she love you?" she asked. "Aye," I said rather sadly. "Why are you sad? Shouldn't you be happy? You love her and she loves you," she asked. "Before she sacrificed herself, she told me she loved me, but I never got to say it back. I regret not saying it back everyday," I said. "Killian, it's going be ok we are going to save her and you are going to tell her you love her, yes she took my mom, but from what you said she seems like a great person, but this darkness has taken over her and caused her to do these bad things," she said. "Aye, you are exactly right, love," I said. She smiled. "I'm sorry she killed your dad," I said. "It's ok. He was never around much and neither was my mom, I had to fend for myself. But my mom is my mom, so I am going to save her," she said. "You're a very brave lass," I said. "Like I said my parents were never around much, I had to learn to take care of myself and to stand up for myself. I guess I just learned how to be a survivor," she said. "All right, I think it's time for bed for all of us!" said David standing up. We all stood up and walked upstairs and we each had a room. "Goodnight, Killian!" said Rose before walking into her room. As she closed the door behind her, it made me think of the night Emma and I had our first date and how I had gotten my hand back just for her. It made me thing of our goodnight kiss that was a magical kiss. It made me think of how I went to The Crocodile for my hand back and how at the time he was the Dark One and how he had fooled me. It made me think of Emma as the Dark One. Lastly, it made me think of how much I missed her. I opened the door and walked into my room, got into the bed, and fell instantly asleep.
