Aria was still shaken up from the previous night. Although slightly traumatized, she refused to let it show. The cries of the boy were nerve racking for her, playing through her head.

It sounded just like Rudy.

Swallowing, she makes herself decent before going out into Pandora. She had mostly stayed away from everyone she knew, no one even noticing the girl's mood.

Except Lo'ak.

He hadn't been around her for most of the day, causing him slight distress and confusion, with a bit of worry.

So eventually, he found his best friend. The girl with the honey dew hair was anxiously biting the skin off of her nails, seeming to be in deep thought, with her headphones plugged into her special walkman.

Lightly tapping the teen on her shoulder, Aria jolts up, taking off her headphones, facing Lo'ak.

Sighing and rolling her eyes in return at the appearance of the boy, she sits back down, waiting for him to take his seat next to her.

"What?" She questions, staring deeply at a rock.

Lo'ak swallows and speaks. "Are you okay? I haven't seen you all day."

"I'm fine." Aria says, shortly. Lo'ak wasn't buying it.

"Did something happen yesterday? Did-did the human hurt you? Did my dad say something? Did-" Lo'ak is interrupted by a groan from the girl.

"Shut up dude. I'm fine, nothing happened." Aria states, Lo'ak huffing in return.

"Fine, don't tell me." Lo'ak says, getting up ready to walk away, but Aria grabs his arm, pulling him back down.

"Look, nothing happened Lo'ak. I'm fine, I'm just a little tired." Aria lies, enunciating each word carefully.

Lo'ak sighs softly, still catching her lie. "Alright, but seriously, if something happened you can talk to me."

Aria softly smiles, reaching her arm up, which still barely reached, and rubbing his hair.

"Bro! Stop!" Lo'ak chuckles, swatting her hand away.

Aria snorts and then takes a look at the boy's hair.

"Your braids are falling out, let me fix them." Aria states, Lo'ak turning, back facing her so she could get started.

Lo'ak wasn't one to sit still, he liked moving around constantly, hating staying stuck in one spot. But feeling Aria's fingers run through his hair relaxed him. Lo'ak wasn't someone to easily trust another, but he trusted this girl with his life and as did she. Neither of them knew why, especially considering being absolutely different species. They brought out the best in each other, causing them to grow closer each day.

As the sun went down, Aria and Lo'ak sat with one another in blissful peace.
