Neteyam's funeral was almost a blur and a decade of time at once. The Sullys had done a Metkayina way of burying and celebrating their dead by giving back to the ocean.

Aria had stayed next to Lo'ak the entire time, eyes dry with no tears left to cry. She couldn't even speak, afraid that she would break down even more than she already had.

Tuk was sobbing the entire time with her sister as the two completed the ceremony with their family, saying a final goodbye to their brother.

Aria refused for her friend, no her brother, to be dead. He was so young, so much youth and life was left to be lived.

Neteyam was her big brother, he was a listener, he was soft yet strong, he was so much.

I don't wanna die.

The words haunted Aria and would for the rest of her life.

Two weeks later, Aria finds herself with Norm and Jake in a makeshift lab in a ship. Norm would set weekly meets with the Metkayina and the Sullys to help with fixing up the village from the past war.

"Okay, so we have some good news for you." Norm says as he leads Jake and Aria towards the back of the ship. Aria remains silent as she follows behind the avatar.

She gasps a bit as Norm shows her an avatar, her avatar.

"Oh my gosh." Aria breathes out, smile creeping onto her face.

Norm and Jake share a grateful look as the girl studies the blue body.

"She's ready, Aria. For you." Jake states, crossing his arms. Aria bites her lip and looks over at Jake before running towards him and throwing him into a hug.

She feels tears prickle at her eyes, happy tears.

As she pulls away, Jake places an arm on her shoulder as she looks up towards him.

"We want you to stay with us, part of the family Aria." Jake smiles and Aria wipes away her tears and nods.

"You ready?" Norm asks, leaning against the glass of the avatar container.

"Hell yeah." She smiles, turning back to her avatar.

Lo'ak was sitting by himself by at the shore of the beach, watching the waves crash into one another.

It should've been me.

He was never the same after his brother's passing. The life had left his eyes, he was more quiet, he didn't get into much trouble anymore.

He continues to stare into the horizon silently, taking in the beach and ocean.

"Moana?" He hears someone say and turns his head back slowly. Within his view was a beautiful Na'vi, specks of white littering her sleek body as dark blue stripes grazed all over. Her eyes were an amber colour, just like his, and her hair a curly black let down completely.

While never have seen this woman before, Lo'ak knew exactly who she was.

"Aria?" He breathes out, eyes widened.

In turn, she smiles and nods shyly. She had never felt shy ever in her life until this moment.

"Hey bitch." She says, walking towards him. Lo'ak gets up immediately and rushes towards her.

"You're- You- I- You're really pretty." Lo'ak rushes out in one sentence, stuttering. Once he takes notice of what he says, his cheeks turn an even darker blue.

"Why thank you." Aria giggles as Lo'ak continues to shamelessly look over at her body and then her face.

He pauses and allows his eyes to flicker over her lips and then her mouth.

"What?" The girl whispers as Lo'ak continues staring at her, adoringly. "Lo'ak..."

"Aria, I, I just, you're beautiful." Lo'ak whispers as Aria looks away, shy. She feels his hand on her chin leading her to look back at him.

"Don't look away." His voice was raspy as a burning feeling takes over Aria's body.

Her heart beats faster as they continue gazing into one another.

Do it bitch. Do it.

"Aria." Lo'ak speaks up. She hums in response. "Can I kiss you?"

Her heart begins thumping, practically ready to pounce out as she grabs the back of his neck and pushes his head towards her.

Their lips connect and a jolt of electricity flows through their bodies.

Aria feels him push into her, hands on her hip.

She felt high off of him, he was her drug.

When they finally pull apart, both teens have their face flushed, bodies on fire.

"Oel ngati kameie, Aria." Lo'ak speaks, gazing down at her.

Looking up at him she smiles, "Oel ngati kameie, Lo'ak."

They stare once more at one another before breaking off into a fit of laughter.

Aria pushes Lo'ak and he grabs onto her and pulls her down with him as they wrestle in the sand.

Eventually, Lo'ak pins her down and begins peppering her with kisses. Aria squirms and giggles as he finally gives in.

"Seems like you've been waiting a long time to do that, Starboy." Aria teases, her hands held above her head by Lo'ak.

"Shut up, so have you." Lo'ak grumbles and Aria laughs at his demeanour.

"I'm just joking, Lo." Aria assures and he smiles down at her. "I have a confession."

Lo'ak raises his "brow" at her and smiles.

"I think I'm in love with you." She confesses, scared of his response.

"Aria Russo, I'll love you till the die that I die." Lo'ak responds and she lets out some tears and laughs.

"Till death do us part, Starboy."

"Always and forever, Stargirl."
