Confused. That's what Aria Russo was at this very moment in time. Actually she was passed out in this moment of time, but before she had blacked out she was highly confused.

Groggily, the girl finally awakens, sharp pains all over her body. No more was she in the middle of a battlefield or the ocean or on a freaking rock, she was lying on the sand, covered by the sticks and twigs tying together marui.

She let herself breathe for a moment, closing her eyes as she ignored the excruciating pain in her mind of the memories of the past day.

In and out. You're safe, it's over.

Aria repeats this mantra as the sounds of waves crashing engulfs her within a trance. Her nose becomes filled with the salty smells of the sea as she finally opens her eyes once again.

The girl turns her head to the side as sharp pains shoot up it, but of course, Aria ignores those pains as well.

She takes notice of a certain blue boy sleeping peacefully on a kot beside her. Aria studies him for a moment, her eyes shamelessly looking over his abs and a scar on his forehead.

She slowly reaches her hand out and grabs a rock from beside her before throwing it at the boy.

Jolting awake, Lo'ak gasps as Aria simply smirks at him.

The teenager groans as he scowls at Aria.

"What the fuck, Aria." He mutters as he walks and kneels beside the human girl. In response, she simply continues smiling at him.

They gaze into one another when all of a sudden Aria feels her throat closing up.

Neteyam.

Shutting her eyes she whispers, "Neteyam. Where is he?"

When she opens them, her best friend cannot seem to open his eyes.

"Lo'ak!" She finally lets the tears out as Lo'ak holds her hand, the girl silently crying.

A minute passes and Aria slowly gets up with Lo'ak's help. She wastes no time in engulfing the boy in a tight hug, both of them ignoring their flaming injuries.

"I'm so sorry Lo'ak." Aria hoarsely whispers and after a moment she feels hot tears running down her shoulder.

Now letting the boy grieve and mourn, she holds him even tighter, refusing to ever let him go. She would never let him go like she did his brother.

Both teens, broken themselves and mourning, finally can let themselves go in front of one another.

Aria holds onto Lo'ak as he helps her up and walk around. She had sprained her ankle and her body was dusted with cuts and wounds that had been treated by the Metkayina.

Hopping with Lo'ak's help, they make their way to where everyone, but Neytiri, Kiri, and Tuk, were gathered.

Warriors were injured, Na'vi were screaming in agony, women and children crying for their husbands, fathers, and brothers dead at war.

Lo'ak and Aria make their way to where Jake was conversing with the Metkayina chief.

With no hesitation, Aria speaks up, "How can we help?"

Jake has no words as he gazes over the willing girl and his son with an approving gaze.

The chief smiles softly and responds, "There are many warriors who need to be treated."

Aria nods sternly and makes her way with Lo'ak to attend to the wounded.

Both teens push back tears, words, and memories, as they both work on healing the injured.

They were all broken, each and every person, but at least Lo'ak and Aria had one another to heal.
