The following day was nothing that Aria could have expected. She was back in the lab with Harry, only this time he was cuffed to the bed rail, with a few drugs given to him.

Aria felt nothing but pity for the poor boy as she sat in front of him.

"Hey Harry." Aria greets with a soft smile. Harry only blankly stared into the corner. "Okay, not much of a talker anymore. Well I guess you could be a listener."

"You're still here." Harry finally speaks up, his voice raw. "You didn't leave after what I did the other day. Why?"

Aria swallows and answers, "I'm giving you another chance, I guess. I know how you feel."

"How can you?" Harry scoffs. "I don't remember how I got here, or-or where I am. How could you possibly know how I'm feeling?"

Aria kisses her teeth. "I know you're feeling scared, lost, alone. You feel like anything terrible could happen to you at any point from now. You feel confused as to why you're here." Aria sucks in a breath. "Trust me when I say that I'm the only one here that understands what you're going through."

"Then where is here?" He questions once more.

Aria lets out a soft groan before answering, "Dude, you know that I can't tell you that. The only way we'll make any progress is if you tell me whatever you remember."

Harry chuckles bitterly, looking away from her again.

"Why? So you can cuff me to a bed?" Harry states, sarcasm dripping from his voice.

"It-that's only a precaution." Aria stutters, rubbing her arms.

Harry rolls his eyes.

"Yeah, because I'm so dangerous." Harry scoffs now causing Aria to roll her eyes.

"Look, you can stop being such an ass. I know the situation isn't ideal but stop complaining, people are going through goddamn wars right now and you're here moaning and groaning. So shut the fuck up, tell me everything you remember so I can leave and you can leave." Aria scolds causing the boy to finally drop the attitude.

He licks his lips and raises his eyebrows.

"Fine. I don't remember how I got here. I just remember fragments of memories back in New York. It was just me and my dad, my mom died a while back. My dad was a business man, so I didn't see him around much either." Harry explains and Aria nods.

"Okay." She nods. "That's good."

"My dad, he was into space and shit, he was so fucking paranoid all the time, he thought there were aliens out there." Harry chuckles. "He was crazy, everyone said. No one believed him. I did. And then, I remember one day following him into some room and then... I-I can't remember." Harry states, scrunching his brows at the end.

Aria leans towards him and takes his hand, this time he doesn't cringe backwards.

"Harry. Your dad. He wasn't wrong." Aria says slowly, choosing her words carefully. The boy cocks his head in confusion in return. "Aliens. They do, exist."

Harry stares up at her, with a hurt expression on his face. "Fuck you Aria."

Aria's eyes go wide. "Excuse me?"

"Stop mocking me! Stop looking at me like that!" Harry shouts, Aria walking back.

Looking at the fragile boy just triggered Aria. Heavily breathing and hand on her chest, the brunette can only whisper. "I-I can't, I can't do this."

She quickly exits the room, tears pricking at her eyes. Aria was walking out so fast that she didn't even notice Jake and Norm calling her name until Jake pulled her back by the arm.

"Aria. Hey. Kid, come on." Norm says, placing two hands on her shoulder.

"I-I can't be around him anymore, Norm. I-I can't." Aria states, catching her breath. It triggered too much.

"Kid, you've already done enough." Jake says sincerely from behind Norm. Aria swallows and nods in return.

"We'll take over for now." Norm says as he and Jake enter the boy's room, leaving Aria alone with her thoughts.

The sight of Harry like that reminded her nothing but her lost friend. Her first heartbreak.

The thing is, is if she was ever going to get over it.
