Haerin decides to call Hanni back as she felt a little bit guilty for not replying her texts.

"Hello Hanni, sorry for not responding to your texts."

"It's okay, Hae."

"By the way, what holiday is it today?"

"It's some exclusive day off to all the staff of the school, they posted it on their fb only some minutes ago."

"Alright, thanks."

Haerin ends the call as she decides to go for a small walk around the city to cool off a bit.

She spots a Hanni and Hyein nearby, talking to 2 other students. She usually doesn't interact with her friends much at this time, but she's just desperate to satisfy her boredom.

She walks towards the group as she greets them. "Hey guys."

All of them stare at Haerin, halting the activities they were doing. She could see Hanni clinging onto Minji's arm tightly.

"Are you two together that fast?" Haerin says with a small smile.

Hanni quickly releases her grip from Minji as she to speaks. "No I was just uhm, holding her arm yeah that's all.." She says while her face turns red.

"Well okay." Haerin says while she starts to look at Hyein, but her jaw drops when she sees Danielle beside her.

"Hello, Haerin." Danielle says with her usual, warm and cheerful smile. Haerin fails to form any words at all. They continue to stare at each other when Hyein finally snaps.

"Are you guys only going to stare at each other? It looks a damn romance scene at this point." Hyein says as she rolls her eyes.

They whip there heads to Hyein as they look back to each other awkwardly. "I was wondering if we could hang out today, maybe at the nearby ice cream parlor?" Danielle says to cut the silence. "I-i.. okay.." Haerin stutters as she's overwhelmed with emotions.

"Alright! Let's go!" Danielle says excitedly as she drags Haerin out of the group, leading them to an ice cream shop.

"D-danielle slow down we might get hit by a car-!" As Haerin finishes, a car horn can be heard nearing them at immense speed. Haerin immediately pushes Danielle and herself quickly to the otherside of the road, finally being able to breathe.

Haerin sighs in relief, she opens her for her jaw to drop again. She was on top of Danielle, pretty much as breathless as her.

"Ah! I'm so sorry!!" Haerin says frantically as she backs away. "T-there was a car I just wanted to save you so you won't get hit-" She then feels a finger on her lips, quieting her down.

"I know that Haerin, I saw it too." Danielle says with a small smile.

Gosh, Haerin could stare at that all day.

Danielle stands up as she helps Haerin up. "I won't be reckless now, I've learned my lesson." Haerin only smiles to it as she picks up her stuff.

"Well, we don't have to run. the shop is literally here now." Danielle says while pointing at the ice cream shop.

They enter the shop to be greeted by an employee. "Welcome! What flavour would you 2 like?"
