Danielle only needed a second to think about her order. "I'll have chocolate please!"
The employee nods as he looks at Haerin. "What about you ma'am?"
She continues to look at the menu, not hearing what the employee said, so Danielle tapped Haerin's shoulder to get her attention. "Hey, do you have your order yet Haerinnie?" Danielle asks softly.
Haerin quickly whips her head to Danielle, intruiged by the name she just gave her. She faces the employee again as she say "I'll have a Vanilla."
"I'll pay." Danielle says while handing the employee some money. The employee bows as he prepares their ice creams.
"Where should we sit Haerinnie?"
"I'm fine with anywhere."
"Okay then! Let's sit by the window!"
They collect their ice creams, then they walk towards a table right next to the window.
"Haerin, have you ever had crushes before?" Danielle asks while eating her ice cream.
"No." Haerin replies.
"Oh, okay. That's fine." Danielle says with a small chuckle.
Haerin receives a call from Hanni. "Well this is odd."
She picks up the call.
"Hann-?"
"Haerin, Your mom is in the ER, and we really need you to come here, and right now."
Haerin drops her ice cream in shock.
"What happened to her..?!"
"She got hit by a speeding car. Look, ill explain more once you get here."
Haerin starts to sweat as she frantically starts to pack her stuff. Danielle notices her actions and questions her.
"Haerin, did something happen?" Danielle says, holding Haerin's hand unconsciously.
"I need to go to the hospital, now."
"Can I go with you?"
This question takes Haerin by surprise.
"Go with me..? But why?"
"Ill keep you company. Is that fine?"
"O-...O-okay."
They start to speed walk towards the hospital. It is still visible on Haerin's face that she is indeed very worried for her mom.

Haerin enters the hospital in a rush, searching for Hanni, Danielle right behind her.
Haerin spots Hanni right in hallway as she runs towards her, Hanni quickly noticing Haerin.
"Hey Haerin. Your mom is still in the operation room." Hanni says with a low voice.
Haerin only nods from the statement, taking a seat beside Hanni. Danielle does as well, just beside Haerin.
"But since you are here now Haerin, I'll be taking my leave. Promise you'll be okay?" Hanni says grabbing her stuff and standing up.
Haerin just nods as Hanni pats her shoulder
"Please let my mom be okay.." Haerin mumbles, but enough to be heard.
"She will be okay, Haerin." Danielle says while rubbing Haerin's back.
Haerin slowly falls asleep on Danielle's shoulder, sleeping peacefully.
Danielle dozes off as well, just a couple minutes later.
