"So? Any explanation?" Hanni asks.
"no.." Haerin replies as she grips her phone tighter.
Hanni squints her eyes in suspicion but shrugs it off shortly after.
"Okay then, I'll head off to sleep now. Don't wanna be late tomorrow!" Hanni states as she heads to her room. Haerin does the same, drifting off to sleep.

It is currently 6:24 AM, and Haerin is now waiting for people to walk in the classroom. She came into school earlier than usual, but doesn't really know what to do to pass time.
Haerin just stares at the half-open window, lost in all the scenes she could see.
"Good Morning, Haerinnie~!" A gentle voice spoke.
Haerin immediately recognizes this voice when she whips her head to look at Danielle.
Instead, she immediately whips her head back to the window to avoid the awkward eye contact.
"Good M-morning.." Haerin utters out.
"Did you sleep well?" Danielle asks.
This genuinely catches Haerin's attention, as she is not asked this that frequently.
"Yeah.. Why do you ask?"
"You just looked a little empty this morning, so I thought I needed to make sure you were okay." Danielle replies.
Haerin was about to say something, when she heard her name again.
"Haerin-ah! Why did you go here without me??" A someone says at the classroom entrance.
Haerin's and Danielle's conversation is now cut off when they switch their attention to Hanni.
Awkward silence fills the room for a second when Hanni speaks up.
"Oh, did I disturb you two?" Hanni says as she wriggles her brows.
"No! Why would you say that..? We are just frien-" Haerin quickly responds but Hanni cuts her off.
"Friends, for now."
"W-what? I don't get it-"
"You'll know soon enough." Hanni quickly responds as she walks off the entrance.
Silence again fills the air, as Danielle slowly walks back to her chair.
They don't speak to each other for the rest of the period, when it's finally lunch time.
The both of them pack up their stuff as they go towards the cafeteria.
Haerin spots Hanni as she sits beside her, Danielle taking the seat opposite to Haerin.
Hyein and Minji arrive as well, taking seats at the same table.
They all start to eat, Haerin and Danielle being unusually quiet.
"Are you guys gonna say something? You two have been quiet for 5 minutes straight." Minji finally speaks up.
Haerin and Danielle stare at each other for a while, when Haerin sighs.
"Hanni, what did you mean by friends for now?" Haerin utters out.
"You seriously don't want to admit it?" Hanni retorts.
"Admit what?" Haerin questions.
"Forget it, the bell is about to ring." Hanni replies.
