-Aliyah Cameron-
He wouldn't stop following me, no matter how fast I ran, no matter how many times I cried out for help. He didn't stop.
My legs carried me as fast as they could further and further away. "Come back, baby." He shouted "I just want to show you how much I love you." He said sweetly.
Tears ran down my face, and as soon as I thought I got away I felt someone standing behind me. Hands on my arms forcing me to turn around.
When we made eye contact he smiled "Hi there, baby."
Screaming as loud as I could my eyes shot open, my hands desperately try to find my surroundings when the door slammed open.
"No! No!" I screamed, covering my whole face from him, hoping that maybe if he doesn't see me he won't do anything.
"Sweetheart, hey it's just me." Hearing a soft voice say, letting my hands come down and staring at Alastair my eyes widened. He stared at me with this worried expression on his face. "What's wrong?" He asked. Trying to process what happened, I blinked a few times "I-I just had a dream." Whispering, he nods his head slowly "What happened in it?" He was being so calm.
"He-" But I cut myself off because I don't know what would've happened, I don't know what he would've done if I stayed asleep. "Who, Aliyah." It wasn't a question, it was a demand. My hands shake as I gripped my hair, feeling Alastair's hands on my arms as he rubbed it.
"Aliyah I need to know who." He said and I shook my head "I can't." My voice broke, Alastair nodded his head. His hand goes to my face and I feel him wiping away my tears. "Get some rest, sweetheart." He tells me getting up "Can you stay until I fall back asleep, please?" I asked. He froze before nodding, I watched as Alastair walked over to the other side of the bed and go in.
Lying on my side and facing him, he turned his head to look at me "I'm sorry I woke you up." I say and he shook his head "I was already up, Aliyah." He told me and I nod my head starting to feel tired.

When I woke up, Alastair was gone. When I looked at the clock it showed that it was ten in the morning, yawning I got up and walked to the bathroom to get myself ready.
After I finished brushing my teeth and using the bathroom I go downstairs, seeing Alastair cooking what seems to be breakfast. He turns around "Good morning." Was all he said before turning back to the stove.
I sat down at the counter "What are you making?" I asked "French toast." He said and I nodded. "Your house is kind of boring." I say, he stared at me "Oh?"
"Yeah, do you have any pets? That would make your house less boring and old like you." I say looking around for any sign of animals, something changed in him "No, I don't." He said, nodding my head "Have you considered it?" I asked and he shook his head handing me a plate of food, I smiled.
Claire came down not long after, Alastair stared at her with a confused expression, she grabbed a plate of food and just sat down in front of me.
"I'll be back." He said and I nodded. Claire and I sat in an awkward silence, I wanted to get to know her but she was so quiet and seemed so closed off I didn't know how.
When I was about to say something the front door opened and Alastair's parents walked in. His father walked over to Claire, saying something in Italian that made her stop eating. I watched as she got up grabbing her plate and dumped the food, aggressively putting her dishes in the sink and quickly going upstairs.
Marcus stared at me, looking me up and down. Feeling uncomfortable I stood up and threw the rest of my food away and put my dishes in the sink. "You're going to wash those, right?" He asked, staring at him confused "I'm sorry?" I asked.
Marcus rolled his eyes "Those dishes, you're gong to wash them correct?" He asked again, looking at the sink and nodding slowly "Oh, yeah." Whispering. "It's about time someone actually acts like a wife in this house." He said, I had no clue what that was supposed to mean but I didn't like it.
"Oh, Aliyah honey you can leave those." Alastair's mother comes by "Lydia, leave her." Marcus said in a tone that made me freeze, I knew that tone, that tone would mean I'm in trouble. "I'll wash the dishes." Lydia assured, I stared at her.
She looked extremely young compared to her husband, she was also extremely gorgeous. She had light brown hair, green eyes and freckles.
"What's going on?" A voice breaks the silence, turning around I see Alastair standing there in an all black suit, fixing the cuffs on his shirt. "I'm trying to get your wife to do what she's supposed to." Marcus said, Alastair stared at him.
"If she doesn't want to do something you won't make her, especially not in my house." Alastair said to his father, before his father could speak Alastair cut him off "Aliyah, you can go upstairs if you want." He said to me and I nod my head slowly stepping away from the sink.
Alastair gave his father one last look before walking out, my eyes followed him as he left.
The sink turned off and I finally realized that she already washed the dishes "I'll be upstairs if you need me." Lydia said, Marcus was staring at me and I felt uneasy about it.
When we were alone he spoke "Next time I better see you doing those dishes and I hope you were the one cooking and not my son." He said before walking away.
I couldn't speak, my throat felt dry and all I could do was question what happened to this family.
