When Krob gave the order to attack, the unicorns uttered a war cry before launching the charge into the village compound. Soon the minimoys soldiers who had positioned themselves behind Eldarion and the royal family were in position to retaliate, pointing their spears forward to counter the charge of the unicorns. Between the two armies stood Selenia, Betameche, Eldarion and King Sifrat perched on Mogret. Eldarion eliminated the first unicorns throwing lightning-like magic projectiles at them to neutralize as many enemies as possible. When the unicorns began to collide with the minimoys lines of defense, Eldarion set out to push them away by making them feel with his magic hammer, knocking out every unicorn in his way. Slowly but surely, he approached the royal family to help them secure them.

It was then that Krob’s huge flying war beasts took flight on his orders. As Eldarion had predicted, they tried to return to the village minimoy to rain death.

"OPEN FIRE!" roared Eldarion, yet no one seemed to be able to obey him. Nobody visible anyway. Indeed, a volley of arrows was fired by well hidden and entrenched minimoys archers. These arrows reached the flying mounts. Although it did bring down one of these creatures, the other five flying beasts remained alive.

Taking this case personally, Eldarion held out his hand to his head and removed it with a quick and dry gesture. This move made appear on his face a metallic mask matching his armor, masking him from the forehead to the chin. Then he quickly disengaged from the unicorn he was fighting before starting to run the archers' positions. His black cape twirled under the effect of the race, so much so that it turned into a large pair of magical wings, similar to those of the dragonflies and glistening blue. Then he jumped and took off towards the big winged mounts of unicorns. One of them appeared and spurred Eldarion in flight. He struggled to cling to the horn of the beast as he got carried away by it, with the idea of crushing it against a wall that was beginning to get dangerously close under the gaze of the unicorn rider who was jubilant.

Aware of this danger but unable to get rid of the grip of the monstrosity, Eldarion began to throw a series of punches from his right hand on the skull of the beast while clinging to his horn from his left hand. These animals have nothing to do with the mosquitoes of the sesides, they are endurants..." he thought, noting the ease with which the beast took his punches. Deciding to use a stronger way, he impregnated part of his magic in his fist, creating small, knocking shock waves on the skull of the beast every time. After eleven more strokes, the flying beast finally let go, finding itself stunned in flight, Condemning them, it and its lone horseman to an impending crash as Eldarion redeployed his magic wings and resumed flight just in time before he took the wall in his face.

On the ground, Selenia and her father assisted their soldiers in the defense of the central gate. Selenia looked for Krob with her eyes, plucking the unicorns that stood in front of her while appearing and dodging the blows that had been delivered to her. Then she realized very quickly that Krob did not participate in the fight and was content to watch the battle, sending his soldiers to a death as certain as vain. "He is as cowardly as he is lazy..." she thought. After pushing back an attacker, she began to assess the situation: neither side managed to gain the advantage over the other. If the unidentified forces continued to flow through the gate, the Minimoys managed to hold on, holding their position and refusing to yield ground. But although she was proud of her people’s unprecedented tenacity, she knew that in the long run their armies would not hold.

Suddenly, one of Krob’s flying beasts crashed right into the unicorn rows, before Selenia. This beast was the one that Eldarion had shot down, and as she looked up, she saw him take another in pursuit, chasing it in the air, like an aerial predator seeking to shoot down an enemy plane. Then the roar of a unicorn brought her back to earth. Raising her dagger in time for the sword stroke, she responded by kicking the knee of the unicorn before jumping backwards, landing on her hands and kicking the unicorn’s chin hard as she passed. As Selenia returned to the ground with a grace and agility like no other, her attacker fell backwards, completely stunned.
