Arthur 4 : The return of the prince

Chapter 23

The first thing that Arthur felt when he arrived here was love, manifested by Selenia who had thrown herself at him. She embraced her beloved with all her strength and her tears expressed her immense happiness. Arthur also felt the tears rise, and took advantage of this moment to hug his princess in her arms.

"Selenia, I missed you, I missed you so much... I’m so happy to finally see you." Arthur always held Selenia against him. He gently placed one of his hands on Selenia’s left cheek, prompting the latter to look at him. Then, without warning, Arthur kissed her.

Selenia was pleasantly surprised, she who used to see Arthur let himself be made when it was she who put her kisses of love on the lips of her husband, Arthur took the lead, and that was delightful.

After several seconds of kissing, Arthur broke the contact while his hand was still on Selenia’s face, wiping a tear with his thumb.

"I love you, Selenia. " Arthur declared before placing a kiss on her forehead and embracing her.

"I love you too, Arthur. I’ve missed you so much, sweetheart. But now we will be able to fully relive our love as on the first day." replied Selenia, who apparently refused to let go of Arthur, wishing to keep him in her arms no matter what.

The two lovers got up, however, when they saw that the crowd was watching them and cheering for the return of their prince. Daisy, Armand and Rose were surprised to see their little fellow Arthur exchange such a kiss with a lover, so much so that they had not yet realized that they had changed form. All three were now authentic minimoys, with everything that implies: the big pointed ears, their bodies now measuring two millimeters.

Darkos was also present, and came to the rescue of Arthur and Selenia.

"Rose, Armand, Daisy, I present to you Selenia, crown princess of the first kingdom of the world of minimoys." Darkos explained, raising his arms towards the concerned.

"Thank you, Darkos, for your intervention." replied Selenia with gratitude. " I’m delighted to meet Arthur’s family, and even more so to see that you’ve chosen to follow him here. So welcome to our home." she added with kindness.

Seeing that neither Armand nor Rose answered, Daisy spoke in their place:

"Thank you very much for the warm welcome, Princess Selenia." she replied, bowing briefly before the princess. We are all three delighted to follow in the footsteps of Archibald and Arthur. "Daisy replied with gratitude.

While she was making the introductions of Arthur’s parents to Selenia, he found himself again pushed. Betameche, his best friend and brother-in-law, had come out of the lot to throw himself at Arthur, hugging him in a fraternal way.

"Arthur, it’s been so long! I'm so happy!" he exclaimed with a joyful laugh.

"I have missed you too, Beta. I see that you have grown well," noticed Arthur, for whom Betamèche seemed almost as tall as he was.

"I’m over a thousand years old now, I hsve grown up indeed." Betamèche explained. "But I think it’s time to introduce yourself to people you don’t know." he added as his cousin Gwidalia approached.

"Pleased to meet you, noble cousin. I am Gwidalia, cousin of Selenia and Betamèche. As a result, I too am part of the royal family." Gwidalia presented herself in the noblest and most courteous manner.

"It’s a pleasure to meet you, Gwidalia. I guess it won’t be necessary for me to introduce myself as you must already know me." replied Arthur with a big smile.

"Yes, indeed. I already know you, as well as the one who brought you back." Gwidalia pointed her arm towards Eldarion. The latter, having remained in the background until then, took back in hand his magic hammer on which he had leaned. He advanced toward Arthur with a heavy and metallic step.
