Chapter 26: All Time Low

Sadie stands in her hair and makeup room with now a black long sleeved sweatshirt that reads 'New York' in white cursive writing, her curly hair being down her back while she has on black knee high socks, her walking around the different shelves of clothes while looking at him, blasting all time low in her ear to get ready for the next scene she is about to have.

The scene is set for a month after Janice and Kyler cut ties with her and after the fight with Cassidy and her family. Sadie loops the song over and over again in her ears as loud as it can go, honestly wanting to do this scene perfectly. It is suppose to be a sad scene, it is suppose to make the audience feel pity for the character and have a little remorse for her even though she is clearly in the wrong. Sadie likes this challenge, and she is ready to test herself.

She almost jumps out of her skin when she feels a tap on her shoulder, her whirling around with slight wide eyes.

"Woah woah." Jenna lightly laughs while holding her hands up, Sadie taking a little something in between a breath and a chuckle as she takes out her AirPods. "Didn't mean to startle you."

"No it's okay I was just in my own world." Sadie responds, her going to pause the song.

"All time low?" Jenna questions.

"Yeah I'm just getting in the mood of my next scene." Sadie responds.

Jenna nods a little while looking at her. "You sure that's all it is?" She questions further. "I'm not trying to pry but, you know me you and Millie have grown closer with this movie you're my friend so I'm concerned."

Sadie smiles at her. "Is it that obvious?"

"That you're in love with Caleb? Absolutely." Jenna nods.

Sadie sighs a little bit. "So my main reason as to now why I'm so torn is just that I don't want it to be where we get together so quickly and everything ends up falling apart you know? When it comes to media or just thinking we're in love for like...forever. What if it's just temporary love like what if yes we actually love each other but that love doesn't last long? I've seen it where stars fall out of love they just come back and say that they felt it slowly dwindling away until it was nothing left. I don't want me and Caleb to be one of those ones."

"How will you know if you don't try?" Jenna questions.

"But...what if we do and it's like that? And I end up loosing him forever?" Sadie questions. "I can't loose him I've known Caleb it seems like my entire life, I can't loose that."

Jenna nods her head in understanding. "Piece of advice, if you want to wait and see how everything goes before going in that is completely fine but don't wait to long Sadie, because when that happens then...they end up just going away and moving on."

Sadie looks at her for a moment. "You talking from experience?"

"Unfortunately yes." Jenna lightly sighs a little. "You're actually the first person I told about this, our relationship was secret he wasn't any star or anything I actually knew him from school." She reveals. "But we really did love each other, we still do it's just....with my career launching up so much after being in You and Wednesday things got busier for me. He said he would wait for me and honestly Sadie men are going to tell you that when they truly love you but they don't want to take to long, and I made the mistake of waiting to long, so he cut things off, relationship wise."

Sadie nods her head in understanding. "I'm sorry."

"It's fine." Jenna smiles. "He was the one that got away, and that's okay because he's happy, he's out doing his own thing and I'm glad for that. My whole point in telling you that is because yes sometimes it is good to wait and see what happens, but not waiting to long in order for them to get away. Caleb is a good guy Sadie, don't let him be the one that got away. Otherwise if he is...that all time low is going to be a lot more harder."
