Oh god.

Oh, my god, Ranboo was panicking. Ranboo could not breathe. There his relationship was, out on display for thousands and thousands of people to comment on. Maybe, maybe they were right, maybe Ranboo was too forceful, or maybe Jaden was in the wrong. Or maybe they were both toxic, maybe Ranboo should just cut Jaden off entirely, for the greater good.

Maybe Ranboo's chest being tight and breathing being so, so labored was a sign that this entire situation was a mess. Maybe Ranboo just needed to put a cap on it and throw it in the trash like a half full bottle. They'd never have to deal with it all again.

"Ran? Aimee told me to come check on you- oh, shit-"

Ranboo quickly tried to compose himself in front of Freddie, but to no avail. Freddie had to comfort him. Freddie had to comfort Ranboo while he panicked, and Ranboo was hopelessly embarrassed but there was nothing he could do- he couldn't calm down, the situation was so, so stressful. Everything Ranboo had built was crumbling in front of him, his career, his relationships, all of it.

Ranboo was wiping tears from their eyes, sitting on his bed with Freddie sitting next to them. "He- he apologized, Freddie, he- I don't- I-"

Freddie gently grabbed Ranboo's phone from his shaking hands. "Later. You need to calm down first."

"I need to apologize, Freddie-"

"Ranboo. I need you to stop worrying about that. Just breathe." Freddie put the phone on Ranboo's nightstand. They resisted the urge to reach for it. Freddie was right- they were in no state to be talking to Jaden.

The fact was, they both left a lot unsaid. They only really acknowledged the negatives during their fight- obviously- and with level minds, Ranboo was certain they could sort themselves out. Ranboo, at that moment, did not have a level mind.
