Chapter: Hat Kid's spaceship

There was a widely vast area filled with stars and planets, asteroids too. No gravity was present there. That place is called space. And in space, there was a spaceship which belonged to an alien. When you think of alien spaceships, usually you think of the usual U.F.O. The saucer shape. However, this spaceship was built differently. It was made of wood and various other materials, and had a more box-like shape. In that spaceship, was a bedroom. In that bedroom, was that same alien sleeping. She was sleeping peacefully in her little blue bed.

She wasn't an alien that was green and gross. She looked like an ordinary human, but she didn't function like any other human. She was also young, a small child sleeping with her plushies.

Her room had yellow walls with various animal heads on them, as you would expect a child's room would look like. The floor was blue, with a circled darker blue rug, with a swirl inside of it with different colored circles inside. She also had a huge mountain of pillows, which included a diving board. It was like a swimming pool, but made of different colored pillows. On one side of the room, it was purple, with little dots imitating stars, and a huge window that showcased the vast area of space. The lights were also off, giving a chance for the stars outside to shine.

While this setting sounds peaceful, it didn't last very long. A voice from somewhere (presumably a speaker) spoke, startling the child. She jumped out of bed (literally) and landed face flat on the ground. The shake of the fall prompted her top hat to fall from her nightstand, slowly falling onto her head. As the voice kept rambling, the girl got up and yawned, walking forward a few steps. She then rubbed her eyes, adjusting to the light. She fixed her purple top hat, and looked at her surroundings, still somewhat dazed from that sudden awakening.

The girl had brown hair tied to a low ponytail, with sideburns on the side of her face. A purple top hat with a yellow stripe laid on her head. She had a purple shirt with sleeves that covered her arms, and white pants with brown boots. A yellow cape draped over her shoulders, the yellow matching the purple she wore. This was her everyday outfit. It did the job, so why have other clothes?

After her blue eyes finished adjusting, she was finally fully awake, ready for the morning. She marched forward to the purple door, automatically sliding open upon stepping onto the small purple rug in front. She walked through the hallway, neon lights lighting the path. Another automatic door slid open, and the main hall of the ship was revealed. The main hall had a control station with various levers and buttons, and there was a wooden chair with pillows on it, as well as a steering wheel. Most of the wall in front was glass, revealing most of space.

The main hall was connected to various doors that lead to different parts of the ship. It also had a second story, which lead to the kitchen and a huge screen and a safe, with double doors to the right of said safe. She stepped onto the green carpet, and went right, which lead to a ramp leading to the second story. She then walked over to the huge screen that was on the wooden wall, an exclamation mark displaying on the digital screen. The child then walked up to it.

"Boop!" The child said, as she tiptoed up and tapped the screen with her finger.

She backed away, hands behind her back. The screen displayed two destination points, one was an explosion of sorts, and the other was a house, symbolizing home. A dotted line bridged the destinations, with an icon of Hat Kid slowly going towards the home icon. On the top, it displayed an hourglass icon, with "40/40" next to it.

(If you haven't figured out already, which you should have, this is literally the a hat in time intro.)

Hat Kid smiled at her progress, only halfway home. She suddenly jumped when she heard banging. She looked left and right, wondering what was causing this disturbance. She then turned her back, seeing a person knocking on a glass door placed on the huge glass walls. She walked down the ramp to the first story, and went up to the strange person. The person was a bald man with a blue suit, with an apron covering. He also had a mustache. However, it was still a mystery of how he was even breathing in space, if he's even breathing at all, because as far as Hat Kid could tell, it was a human.
