New world

Aquarius' POV

I glanced at Ophi. His mouth was twisted in an awful smile that made me sick. Something about this man made me uncomfortable and I really wanted to talk to the others. Figure out what exactly we were doing. The pendant was hanging delicately from my neck. I held it in my hand and stared at it, silently asking it for answers. 

 I looked around the room. Capricorn was talking to Taurus in low hushed towns while Virgo and Cancer looked extremely worried. I walked up to them. 

''So..'' I said, glancing to see if Ophi was listening. He wasnt in the room, and I could spot him making his way to the balcony. Virgo tapped me lightly on the shoulder. 

''I'm not sure about him. And Aries even said yes to him, without even asking us! I mean you cant just trust anyone who walks up to you, tells you some story and then asks you to die for some other world! And I know I believe in this stuff but I mean, this doesnt even make sense!'' Virgo exclaimed, his voice low.  

Cancer nodded. ''His story might be true, but his way of saying it and also threatening Leo just doesnt seem right.'' 

I sighed. ''Im not really worried about that. What I am worried about though, is that Aries just said yes so quickly. It's very unlike her and even when she said it, her voice sounded monotone. Why do I feel like Ophi used his super special magical powers or something? Even though I dont believe in it.'' 

Capricorn glanced at Taurus. ''Taurus and I were thinking of visiting her room. I'm sure everyone else has gone there to either discuss or investigate. Why dont we just go and see it for ourselves?'' As soon as she said that, I saw Leo making his way to Aries' room.

''Going in while she's alone?'' I smirked. Leo jumped slightly, startled. ''Oh- No, Im just worried.'' He said. 

''We all are.'' Taurus agreed. I pushed the door to peek into her room. Everyone else was there, either discussing softly or on their phones. Libra was gently mumuring in Aries' ear while she sat there, very still. I walked in.

Aries looked up. ''Oh Aqua...'' she said, her eyes sparkling. ''Isnt this amazing? We'll be fighting! Warriors. Us.'' I laughed softly, amused at her chilidish fascination. Leo and the others walked in and sat near her bed.

 ''Honestly... Aries, you shouldnt have agreed so quickly. But maybe what he's saying is true? I feel like it is. But still, let's just focus on doing what he says. Seems scary.'' Leo said, wiggling his eyebrows. 

''I dont know what happened, really. I was saying no and then suddenly, I felt like I should say yes. I have no idea what happened. And anyway, he wont take no for an answer. It's either us doing it or us dying.'' Aries said, frowning. ''Let's just go to bed for now. I'm tired.'' 

I got up and followed the others to my room. As I was closing the door, Gemini wedged his foot between the door. I flinched. 

''What the heck?'' I asked. ''Sorry. Just wanted to see you.'' He said, smiling. ''Are you gonna actually join?'' I nodded. 

''That's good.. At least you'll be there.'' He mumured, his eyes scanning the room. I narrowed my eyes as he eased his foot out and walked towards his room. 

What a weird man. Who the heck does that? 

*Next Morning*

I woke up to the sound of someone banging on the door. It was Libra and Aries, grinning like crazy. ''I practiced all my karate moves last night.'' Aries squealed. I rolled my eyes. ''Seriously? Get out, let me change.'' I put on a faded shirt and loose pants. 

Ophi looked at me. ''You're all here. Good. Now, I'll ask you all to close your eyes and think of your happiest moments.'' 

I squeezed my eyes shut, thinking of my family. My little sister playing with me, as I ran after her. My older sister smirking, telling me about porn and laughing when I blushed. My first crush smiling at me, telling me I was beautiful. Aries and I dancing wildly at a party, us drinking shots and eye fucking some guys. Getting out of school. Getting revenge on people. Meeting all my friends. Gemini stupidly smiling at me. Mom and dad hugging me, as I left for my first day of school. Libra- 

My eyes flew open, as someone smacked me right on the face. Virgo was staring at me. ''I thought you were having a stroke.'' He said and motioned towards Ophi. I looked around, shocked. 

It was the most enchanting forest I had ever seen. The birds twittered around and colorful butterflies flew from flower to flower. The sky was a gorgeous hue of blue and the sound of water gurguling reached my ears. The flowers were elegant, with petals as soft was feather and they danced in the soft breeze. Soft humming of the bees and dragonflies filled the air. The grass was green and the trees grew tall, challenging thw wind. I breathed in the fresh air. I took a step forward, in time to see an emerald green snake making its away. Life had never felt more beautiful before. 

I turned around to see Ophi smiling at us, as we admired our surroundings. And then he spoke, in a low musical voice. ''This is your motherland. This is the place you will save. Come.'' He motioned towards us, leading us through a path, to a big house. It had a wall and a huge iron gate. Ophi pushed it back and led us inside. The house was full of armoury, weapons and training material. There were bedrooms and a kitchen along with a living room. We came to a room. Ophi led us inside and spoke loudly,

''Let the training begin!''

Oof. I'm not really seeing enough comments lol so I'm losing motivation again. I tried really hard for this chapter to be more interesting, especially for the description of the forest. Hope you guys like it! Sorry if this disappointed you.
