Don't leave me alone in this world, or any world. I refuse to live in a universe where you don't exist.

______________

I got a call in the morning. Dave was calling me nonstop, it seemed like everyone was. Well... Everyone except [Name]. I decided to check the texts first.

dude [Name] snapped.
she's at the hospital
why aren't you picking up?
dude come on!
[Name] needs you, she hasn't woken up yet.

My heart stopped and I leaped out of the bed, changing into something fast and rushing out the door. The things she said to me were haunting the back of my mind.

I didn't focus on any of my surroundings. I couldn't bring myself to even care to. I had to see her, I had to make sure she was okay.

"She won't be waking up anytime soon..." The doctors said, "the damage done to her brain is far beyond any of our repair. It'll take a miracle to bring her back from her comatose state. I'm sorry for your loss." And then they left me alone in the empty hallway. Alone to my own thoughts.

"John? Hey John, are you okay?" I heard a voice behind me. The hospital around me was getting blurry and voices were getting smudged together. I don't really know what I said in response but I could only assume I said I was fine, even though I could feel myself staggering and holding onto the walls for support.

There was a loud ringing in my ears, and I winced. Voices were shouting and as I struggled to stand up my eyes locked with emerald green.

"You..." I heard myself growl out at him. He froze, eyes wide and I lunged at him. "You're the reason she's like this! If it wasn't for you she'd still be here!!" I shouted at him, my voice filled with venom. People were holding me back but he still cringed as if my words were doing the physical damage to him that I wanted to do. "You're the reason she's gone! She's gone and she's never coming back! All because of you and your selfishness."

With that I was dragged away. It didn't matter anymore, [Name] was gone and wasn't ever going to come back.
