DAY 6
13TH JULY
I went to Eshna's room in our dorm and knocked on the door. When she invited me in I went and sat on a chair by her desk. It hit me then that I had never actually been inside her room. We had always hung out in mine. Again, this was very suspicious. I looked around her room and noticed that it was filled with pictures of Eshna, Manvi and another girl I didn't recognise. "Who's the third girl in that picture"?
"Which picture?"
"That one.", I said pointing at one of the photographs on the wall.
"Oh her..That's Maya's older sister Sakshi. She joined this college last year but dropped out a few weeks after Manvi went missing. She said she dropped out because she was shifting to Pune."
"Okay, anyways back to the topic. I went to visit Eshna's mother some time ago and let's just say she told me that you went to pick her up for the party the day she went missing. Why did you lie to me and tell me that you were in your room the whole night?" I asked her, hoping not to sound too rude.
"Wait no I didn't lie to you. I told you I was in my room because I was. I went to pick her up with Rohit and Aditya but after we reached, I dropped them off and went to my room. I was in a bad mood so I went with them, hoping a change of scenery would change it."
