Chapter 5

Rayan's Pov

My dad and I were sitting in his office when suddenly our spy Jared arrived.

"My Alpha , may I come in"

"Come in ,Jared what happened , why are you here?" asked my dad.

" Alpha I have very important message for you. Alpha Darius is planning an attack on Bloodmoon pack. The date of war has not been revealed publicly but the prediction is it might happen any time in next 2 - 3 months. The alpha has given orders to everyone to leave their jobs and just train day and night "

" 2- 3 months ? That's a very short span .Dad I don't  think they'll be successful just 2 months of planning is not sufficient to take down the strongest and largest pack in the world "

My dad didn't answer ,there was silence for a few minutes then he suddenly spoke " If the span is small then he must have thought it all out . We cannot take any risk . Rayan start preparing our warriors. We won't attack ,tell them to be defensive "

"Defensive seriously !! They are going to attack and we have to play all goodie - goodie nice to them"

" Rayan you don't understand , if we start attacking they  will understand that we are being supplied information. This will ruin further planning plus they will kill off Jared."

Then dad looked at Jared and said"  Jared get me the date as soon as possible."

" Yes alpha I will come here with the date next time " 

"Good. You will be rewarded. You may now leave"

With a bow he left.

Then dad began again " There is one more benefit of being defensive Rayan. Like Bluemoon pack we are also answerable to  Wolf council. If we go on a killing spree it will tarnish our image and create problem in alliances. Instead we could gain allies by saying we never initiate war and are a peace loving pack.

"Right. What's next dad?"

"Tell your mom to make some honey pancakes"

"Dad I am talking about the war"

"Oh right about that  start training the warriors yourself . You need to take responsibility. I want to groom you like a proper Alpha and training starts now."

"Okay" with that I stood up to leave the office.

" Don't forget about the honey pancakes"

"Yes dad !!!"

The Bluemoon  pack is crazy , they are full of devils. The ugly alpha , the dumb Jacob , the too sweet to handle irritating luna , the wild cat Anastasia , the blank faced warrior Jenna , the too old to even move Beta and ugh...so much more.

The only thing that I like about that pack would be Anastasia. God she is beautiful  ,her long blond and brunette hair, the ocean blue eyes, cute little smile and what  not . The only thing that I don't like about her is that she is untamable ,that mouth of her is super feisty.

If she wasn't from my enemy pack then I would have prayed to moon goddess to make her my mate.
