Forever Enemy Mates [ Complete ]

Chapter 9

Anastasia's Pov

"The reason behind  this war is Dominic my elder brother and former alpha of this pack. You don't know Dominic , he died long before you both were born. 

When I was younger around 10 -11 yrs old , our pack and Bloodmoon pack we are at wars every other day. Bloodmoon pack  had made their life's goal to destroy us . In one such war my mom and dad died while protecting this pack. When our parents died I was just 12 and Dominic was 17. Since he was the elder brother he stepped in as the Alpha. A few years passed in peace  then came in the picture Markus , he again started this  daily wars . When my brother finally turned 21 he decided to put an end to this. He prepared a peace treaty that would  benefit both the packs. I clearly remember our last conversation :

In flash back  when Alpha Darius was 16 

" Dom are you sure about this? What if they harm you ?"

"Darius you don't have to worry about this. I will explain everything to them nicely. Remember what mom use to say - when you do something with a goodwill it's result is always good."

"Dom I am scared. What if you don't return. NOOOO!! Dom you are the only person left with me and for me after  mom and dad's death . Please don't go !"

"Darius little brother just sleep and I'll  come  back even before you know." 

Flashback complete

and he never came back kids . We searched day and night for him , 2 days passed then suddenly on 3rd day's morning we were called at the pack border where I saw his corpse. The Bloodmoon pack not only killed him but also feed him to dogs. On the border was his half - eaten body and few body parts ."

With this dad busted into tears.

"Kids imagine me there  , what if the Bloodmoon pack does that to me ? Because Dom was not my elder brother but also my dad, mom , my world. What you feel for me is what I felt for him."

"Dad stop just stop we won't ever let you get there & we won't let you go away from us." said Jacob while I sobbed.

"You are wondering why I am telling you this . I am telling you this so you understand that your dad is not power hungry , he  just can't tolerate what happened to his brother. I also wanted to give you a aim so that when you see them you remember what they have done to you dad ."

"Dad why didn't you tell us this soon ? Why did you suffer alone ? " I asked dad

"I was waiting for the right time and the right time has come my child . Are you ready for this ?"

"Yes dad , more than ready . It's time to put an end to that family."

With that we wiped our tears and headed for the real war.
