(Erik's pov)
After closing the door and locking it I made my way to the library, to hopefully find a book on witchcraft. It wasn't something common or that was well... Approved of. I mean casting spell and things of that nature were quite dark.
With my hat low over my eyes I wandered into the library. There was a religion section, obviously. I was silently praying a book on witchcraft would be there. I looked at the titles of the sections. Christianity, Judaism, Catholicism and Paganism. I was close. I read through the titles in that section. There was a book I was looking for. Dark spells! Thank God! I pulled the book off of the shelf and dusted it off. No one probably dared touch it. After doing so I took it to a table in the back corner where I was sure no one would bother me. I flipped open to the table of contents and found it. "Summonings". I kept flipping through that chapter and read. It was actually written down! How to sell your soul was written down. I was shocked. What was even more shocking was the fact that I'd need a human sacrifice. A virgin over the age of twenty. I'd have to drain them of their blood and use the blood to draw an inverted pentagram on the floor of a room that hadn't seen sunlight in at least a day... What? Who the hell...? I only knew one person that would fit this for sure. But I had to do this for Christine.
I slipped the book in my coat pocket and left. It's not as if it would be missed, I was probably the only one to touch it besides the person who organizes the shelves. As I entered the tiny cottage we now resided in I took deep breaths, a bit scared of what I was about to do. After calming myself down I made my way down to the cellar and started preparing things. I lit incense in every corner of the room, keeping the air heavy and dark as the book had instructed. Took out a piece of parchment and scribbled my wishes on it in the most detailed manor. Took a pair of shoes and sprinkled salt in them, leaving them for later.
"Alright."
I muttered to myself, checking for mistakes before I went to the stairs leading up to the main part of our home.
"Time to go get Nadir."
