I FELT a little bold today showing my matching bra and thong straps. I tried to distract myself from everything going on.
I went downstairs and was glad to see no one was awake yet knowing that I wasn't allowed to go out of the house like this. I grabbed my bag as I exited my house.
I walked to school feeling confident as I was walking into school, I see people looking me up and down. I couldn't help but feel confident as all my confidence disappeared last night.
I went into my class grabbing a seat.
That's when Brandt came up to me. "We need to break up" he whispers to me.
I nodded my head "after class let's make it official" I said as he gave me a thumbs up walking to his friends.
After class me and Brandt met up. I grabbed someone drink and opened the bottle cap.
"I can't believe you cheated on me" I shouted at Brandt.
"It's not my fault she was way prettier than you" he shouted back.
As he said that I threw the bottle of juice I was holding straight at him, then leaving him standing there all alone.
I walk into band class as everyone stares at me because of what I had just done.
"I have some very exciting news" the teacher said.
"Alex Nolan is single" one of the kids shouted. 'Was he gay, wait Alex and Heather broke up' I thought. I could see Anna and Maya squealing.
"Brandt Jackson and Madison Harrison broke up" another kid shouted.
The teacher just moved on from that as he told us we had a performance tonight. I had a decent solo that wasn't too easy or too hard.
As we were practicing Maya kept messing up, the teacher soon corrected her as the bell rang. While I was walking out of the classroom someone handed me a note.
I went to my next class, sitting with Connie and Sophia.
"Hey guys" I said as they turned to me.
"Hey Maddie" they said. Turning back to board as they teacher started making teams.
"Tracy and Brandt"
"Jared and Connie"
"Madison and Alex"
I then moved my spot next to him.
As the teacher finished up Anna was left without a partner. The teacher then told her to come sit with us.
While Anna was talking to Alex I was trying to find out what this note said. "Can any of y'all read this" I asked.
"I don't know to use a microscope, you do it" Anna says trying to flirt with Alex. He grabs the note putting it under the microscope.
"It says I like playing with you Madison let's hang out sometime" Alex replied glaring at the note.
"Oh my god" Anna says involving herself in this conversation.
"He likes you" Alex said avoiding contact.
"Who" I asked
"Brendan saxophone" he says giving me the paper back.
"Oh he's cute" I said lying through my teeth trying to get a reaction out of Alex.
I could see his face change as he flips his hair like he usually does.
"So what happened to your g.f or whatever" Anna says striking up a conversation.
"I broke up with her" he replied.
"Oh my god I'm so sorry" she said smirking.
"It's chill" he said.
"What did you hate about her" Anna asked.
"She was just always there" he says.
I was secretly listening to this conversation as they kept talking.
"If I was your boyfriend, I mean, girlfriend I would not be anywhere, unless you wanted me to be somewhere. And then I'd be there on time" she said as Alex gave me a 'help me look' as I just let out a small laugh.
I then started doing the class project we were supposed to do. The bell rang as the teacher dismissed us.

The Band Concert
I couldn't help but feel nervous as I had to preform in front of the whole school. I put my nervousness aside as I got on the stage, sitting where I was assigned.
As we started playing, Maya started playing off key throwing everyone off. I let out a giggle while she started having a full blown meltdown solo.
After Maya stopped she threw up causing me to look at the audience. Everyone got off the stage and behind the curtains.
I started talking to Sophia as the show ended my mom walks up to with a bag in her hand. "Sorry your dad couldn't be here but he got you this bag" my mom said "I'll be waiting in the car."
Me and Sophia were looking threw the bag finding lots of things. "Holy shit he got you so much Dior makeup and Candy" Sophia said.
I look up to her as something behind her caught my eye. Alex was giving Heather a rose.
'What the hell' I thought. As I seen someone approaching me, it was Brendan.
"Hey Maddison" Brendan says as Sophia walked over to Jessica. "Read this when I leave" he said walking towards the door I nodded.
"What the hell getting a new Boyfriend the day we broke up" Brandt said playfully.
"Cheating on me while we were together yesterday" I replied hitting him softly in the arm. Dustin covered his mouth as he looked at the both of his.
"Weren't you basically making out with Alex yesterday or was Maya and Anna trying to break us up" Brandt asked as my jaw dropped.
"Bye Brandt" I said as I walked out of the door into my moms car.
