Chapter 6

*Tiny time skip*

Narrator's Pov:

It was 7 a.m. of the next day, the maids were preparing the dining table for breakfast talking normally.

Suddenly the noise of the door opening could be heard, the women turned to the direction of that rumor finding something, no, someone unexpected.

1'Maid: Prince Tenma, what a surprise, why are you awake so early? I thought that your clock would have rang later.

One of the maids said shyly. They rarely talk to the royal family if not when explicity addressed by one of them.

T: No reasons, I woke up early and I couldn't go back to sleep, that's all.

1'Maid: Y-yeah I should have thought about that... I'm so sorry for bothering you my majesty.

The maid immediately apologized, bowing to Tenma, thinking that she pissed him off.

T: It's ok Hazishiki-san, no need to apologize, and no need to bow at me, really.

1'Maid: u-uh.. Ok- My majesty.

She straightened her back, returning to set the table.

Tenma stared at them for a few seconds, but shortly after he walked to the crockery taking the clean dishes.

2'Maid: Prince Tenma what are you doing? You don't have to do this-

T: Oh no I have to, after all the things you do for our family, it's the least that I can do to thank you.

2'Maid: You're too kind your majesty-

T: No really, please let me help you.

2'Maid: .... Well.. if you insist..

Tenma smiled brightly at the maid, making her smile as well.

And so Tenma helped with preparing the table, he also made some jokes to make the tired women laugh.

As much as they finished, the maids immediately thanked Tenma.

1'Maid: Thank you so much your majesty, your kindness is everything to us.

T: Please don't thank me, like I said, this is the least thing that I can do to thank you.

Suddenly the door opened. Ohana walked in the room, and when she saw his oldest son already awake and all dressed up, she was shocked. but despite this, she remained as impassive as always.

T'sMom: Tenma, I see that you are already awake, strange thing from you since your everyday lateness. I guess that yesterday's punishment did some good.

The blond didn't want to argue with his mother so early in the morning so he just noded.

T'sMom: Now take a sit, and you maids can go, your services are of no use to us at the moment.

The maids walked out quickly of the room, after bowing to them.

"Later that day"

Ta: Ok Aoi, what do you think should we do to make them get together?

A: I don't know, like you told me, they already spend a lot of time together. I can't think about something that will make them even closer.

Ta: We can always try to let them know their feelings? Let them know that they are attracted to each other.

A: Yeah, sounds good to me, but who will talk to Kyousuke, I don't know him at all.

T'sDad: I can.

Both Aoi and takito jumped in fear at Ishido's sudden appearance.

Ta: Dad stop scaring us! I almost had a heart attack!

T'sDad: *giggle* I'm sorry my little cloud, but I couldn't resist listening to your conversation, and to be honest, I always thought that there was a sort of chemistry between your brother and Kyousuke.

Ta: What are you trying to say?

T'sDad: That I want to help you, isn't it obvious? So what if I talk to Kyousuke and you two talk to Tenma?

A: That seems a good plan.

Ta: Yeah, now it's time to start!

Aoi and Ishido noded, ready to make Kyousuke and Tenma end up together.

The two teenagers went to Tenma's room, both sure to find him there.

And they were right, Tenma was in his room, he was drawing in his sketchbook peacefully. Since they didn't want to be too invasive at first, they knocked at the door, reciving a "come in" as a respond.

Ta: hi nii-chan, what are you doing?
Takito said curiously, stepping in the room first.

T: I'm just drawing nothing new, what ab- Oh Aoi you're here too, I didn't see you.

Aoi then came out of the "shadow" stepping in the room aswell.

A: *nervous laugh* Sorry Tenma.., *looking around* wow your bedroom is amazing!

T: *giggle* well thank you, I love it too, me and Kyousuke played a lot together here when we were little kids.

A: I see.

Ta: Talking about Kyousuke. Nii-chan, what do you think about him?

T: What do you mean with that? What should I think about him?

Ta: How does he make you feel? Like when he's around, when he's not around, when he's near you, when he hugs you and so on.

T: Well, it's a bit complicated, and it will also take long-

A: It's ok, we have the all day to listen to it, so go ahead.

T: well.. if you insist. Ok so basically when he's with me I feel safe, he always says that he will protect me once he becomes a true soldier, every time I see him around I have this strange feeling in my stomach, and my heart starts beating faster, so much that my cheeks turn red! Then when I don't see him I start thinking about him COSTANTLY, and then I have the same feeling that I have when he's around. And when he hug me?? He's hugs are warm and gentle, they make me feel protected, his hugs are the best, when I feel stressed or just sad he gives me one of his hugs and everything gets better immediately, awww I would love to have one of his hugs right now...

While saying this Tenma was fantasizing about having one of Kyousuke's hugs, he was talking about them like he didn't had one for years! He was also hugging himself imagining Kyousuke doing it, dancing with his torso and with his eyes closed.

Ta: *whispering to Aoi* this is even better than we expected.

A: *whispering back* for sure it is.

Ta: OK, thank you Tenma for this clarification now if you don't mind us we have to go, see you later nii-chan!

A: Byeeee

And so they ran out of the room, completely hyped from what Tenma said before.

Tenma did not just had a crush, he was in love.
