Narrator's Pov:
Ishido was now heading to the castle ready to meet the two teenagers and ask them what information they got from his older son.
They met in front of Ishido's office, they all seemed pretty satisfied, so they all thought that everything went well.
T'sDad: Ehy Takito, princess Aoi, you seem to have a satisfied face, I guess that you had a great answer from Tenma.
Aoi: Indeed my king, your son really talked about Tsurugi like it was a dream, he really was fantasizing while talking. What about you, my majesty?
Aoi said being politely not wanting to sound too bold.
T'sDad: *giggle* You don't have to act so politely when you are with me, you can just call me Ishido, you are my sons' friend.
The blue-haired girl looked a bit surprised about his answer, but she didn't want to contradict him.
Ta: Soooooo, what about you dad? How did it go?
T'sDad: You should have seen him, he literally had hearts in his eyes when he started talking about Tenma, he's a little bit confused tho, he doesn't know what he's feeling, but I'll help him along to let him clear his thoughts.
Ta: I'm not gonna lie nii-chan doesn't know what he's feeling too, we need to help both or they'll never end up together.
A: You are right, we should start now, it will be pretty easy since they both have feelings for each other, they just need ro realize it.
T'sDad: Yeah that's true, but there's a problem. Tenma won't accept it that easily, he wants to make his mother proud of him so he'll maybe give up on his feelings along to try to like you as a partner.
A: What do you mean? H-he told me that he would fake that we are in love in front of others-
Ta: And that's what he wants to do, but he also knows that his mom won't be able to be proud of him even with a compromise like that, and that's what he always wanted...
A: Oh... Poor Tenma, I could never guess it, I know that I don't know him as much as you do but- he always looks so happy...
T'sDad: That's how Tenma is, he doesn't want to worry people by always acting happy and confident, but after you know him you can understand when he's not really ok.
A: I see, well than we should make him understand that his feelings are important too, and that he has to put them in the first place along to be truly happy.
Ta: Well said, now let's go!
Both Aoi and Ishido nodded and went to help they two boys get together.
They all went outside of the castle ready to make up a plan when they saw the two teenagers on the grass making flower crowns, maybe they don't need a plan that much.
The three of them hide behind a tree, spying on the prince and his "best friend".
As luck would have it, they were also close enough to be able to hear them and so they decided to eavesdrop.
T: This is an orchid, they are good for the health of our skin and also good for the health of our hair. They also bring fortune and prosperity if you place them in your room.
Tenma said as he finished bind the last orchid, creating a beautiful flower crown.
Kyou: I never knew that just a flower could have all this proprieties.
Kyousuke said as the blond-haired placed the crown on his head.
T: Yeah, I was shocked as well when I read it, you know, I had a lot of free time back then so other than playing with you, I spent my time reading books from the library.
Kyou: Cool.... Do you have something else to say about other flowers? Like... Uhhh
Kyouske looked around trying to find a flower that Tenma could talk about, for some reasons he was nervous.
T: Are you ok Kyou? You seem.. nervous?
Kyou: N-no no I'm fine! I-I just uh- why don't you talk about roses? Aren't they your favourite flower?
T: Well if you want. The rose, just like the orchid, has good properties for our skin but other than let it hydriated, it soothes inflammation, effectively fights wrinkles and visible veins on the face. In addition, it is astringent and slightly antibacterial.
He said with a smile on his face, he loved roses, of all the colors possible.
They were romantic and beautiful, he also loved drawing them so he has a lot of sketchbooks full of drawings of roses.
Kyou: *chuckle* you really like this flower don't you *giggle*
T: Well... ehehehe...
Meanwhile.
The three stalkers were laughing as well, not only in awe for their relationship but also because the plan was going great and that they were sure that it will work perfectly.
Suddenly, unknown footsteps could be heard, it didn't past much time that the queen, Ohana, showed up visibly irritated.
T'sMom: Tenma, I thought I told you to stay in your room and go practice your dance moves, you have to be precise and gentle if you want princess Aoi to like you.
T: I know mother but-
T'sMom: No buts, I've had enought of this behavior of yours, if you are not going to do what I say, I'll give the role of king to your brother.
All present except the queen were shocked but her statement.
T: T-Takito?! But he's too young to be king, I can't let him have so many responsabilities at his young age and you can't do this to him!
T'sMom: Then do what you have to do instead of loosing your time with.... him.
Go practice your dance moves, NOW!
Tenma's vision started to become blurry, but he held back his tears and just walked to his room.
As the queen gave a contemptuous look to the young solder, she walked away back to the inside of the castle not saying any word.
The three behind the tree looked at the scene with a dumbfounded look on their faces, they couldn't believe that the queen could go so far!
A: *whispering* how could she say something like this to his own son?!
T'sDad: *whispering* Unfortunately that's how Ohana is, she was raised very strictly and so she's doing the same thing with Tenma. I know that she knows only that method but- I think that now she's going to far.
Ta: *whispering* Oh... Poor nii-chan, if only I could do something-
Takito didn't finish his sentence that he saw the young blue-haired boy standing up, looking at the sky.
Ta: *whispering* What is he doing-?
A: *whispering* I have no idea...
He stood up there for a couple of seconds in silence when a loud scream could be heard coming out of his mouth. The scream was so loud that the birds flew away out of the fear.
It was a mix of sadness and anger, sadness because he knew that Tenma would never feel the same, and anger because he wasn't brave enough to tell him how he really felt.
After that shout, he stood up there for still a couple of seconds and then he walked away, holding the flower crown in his hand.
Aoi, Takito and Ishido have now find a hard obstacle to overcome.
