Innocent Love

Chapter 11

Jennie was in rehearsal with Lisa since YG had arranged for them to collab. V and Jimin watched their girls as they practiced together. "So how are you and Lisa?", V whispered. "We flirt, but I haven't asked her out yesterday",Jimin whispered back sadly. "Just go for it",V said as the girls finished up.

Jimin whisked Lisa away once again, with that they left Jennie and V alone. "Hand me the towel please",Jennie said as she felt a bit of sweat on her neck. As she ruffled her hair she felt something around her waist, V had swung the towel over her head and in front of her stomach. Jennie looked in the mirror to see V making a sneaky smile, he yanked the towel back pushing Jennie backwards into his chest as he nuzzled in her neck.

"Can't we stay like this forever?",he whispered close to her ear. Jennie turned so they were facing each other, she placed her hands on his chest feeling his toned torso, "I wish we could",she whispered back. "I've been wanting to take you somewhere",he said. "I'm free now we can go",she said.

As she drove with him in his car Jennie couldn't help to steal glances here and there, after all he was impeccably handsome. V stopped the car and Jennie scanned the area to get an idea of where they were. "Come on",V said unbuckling her seatbelt for her. As they got out V intertwined their fingers together and started walking on what seemed to be some sort of park, however there wasn't anyone around. Jennie looked to her right and saw a beautiful lake, it was almost as clear as glass and managed to put a smile on her face.

V led her to a sweet setting with two lawn chairs along with two trees on both sides providing shade for them. "Do you still have the picture I got you?",he asked as they sat down. "Yes why?",she asked. "You don't recognize where we are?",V asked. Jennie looked around trying to get an answer, "Wait...is this the same place?"

"Yes it is, it's the place from the picture",V said smiling at her. "How'd you find this place?",she asked. "My family has a lot of connections so I decided to put them to good use for once",he said. "Thank you",Jennie said hugging him tightly. "I thought maybe it would make you happy or it would help solve the mystery of your father",he said. Jennie looked at her bag that was sitting beside her, she reached for it and took out the picture. "Can you help me find this tree?",she asked pointing to the tree in the picture with a carving in it.

They both got up and started checking the trees nearby. "Jen don't go too far",V called out to her as they went in different directions. "I won't. Promise",she winked at him. "Good I don't want to lose you",he said giving a wink back. As he winked he soon saw a  big smile appearing on her face, "Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh!",she said running towards him. He held his arms out to her for her hug, however to his surprise she ran straight past him and to a tree. Jennie caressed the carving with her fingers, soon she felt V's hands caressing hers gently. "Thank you for showing me this",she said lovingly. "Your smile is thanks enough",he said moving closer to her back. She leaned in on his chest and smiled.

"Let's go for a swim",Jennie said heading towards the lake. "What? Now?",he asked. "I'm wearing a t shirt and shorts! Come on!",she said pouting. "If you want to",he said. The two splashed around in the water with the innocence of young children as they completely  let loose. After a while the two rested under a tree for shade as they basked in the sunlight drying off, they laid down facing each other as V caressed her cheek with his thumb.

"Promise me something",Jennie said. "Anything",V replied staring into her eyes. "Many people have walked out of my life and I don't want you to be one of them",she said with passion in her voice. "Is this enough of a promise?",he said leaning in and bringing her head closer to his. The kiss turned intense once again, Jennie clutched onto his shirt and started unbuttoning the top. "Jen we're outside",he chuckled under his breath.

Jennie sat up a little embarrassed as V buttoned his shirt back up. "Don't look so shy, I did the same thing the other day remember?",he said pinching her cheek. "True",she said getting up.

"You know you have that guy in the picture's eyes",V said putting his jacket over her shoulders. "Do you think he could be my dad?",she asked. "I don't know Jen,but the truth will find a way to reveal itself",he said bringing her closer to his chest...
